AnyDVD vs other decrypters

Does anybody like any decryter better than AnyDVD? I am open to ideas, but I am very impressed with this software. I just wish it was free. ;-)
After reading posts here and elswhere, I realized there was probably a solution to my problems trying to copy BEWITCHED & SPANGLISH with the new copy protection. I tried a bunch of the program solutions I read about here, but nothing was working at first.
DVDFAB kept locking up and crashing as soon as the BEWITCHED disc was in the drive, but seemed to work on other movies.
Finally, I tried AnyDVD. At first, I didn't think that it worked and I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to use the program. Then, I read a post about it "running in the background."
Sure enough, I ran DVDSHRINK and copied BEWITCHED very fast with ANYDVD running in the background. Does anybody know if any other the other decrypters work the same way as AnyDVD running in the background? Perhaps, one of the other solutions would have worked if I had been familiar with the way they integrate with other programs like DVD SHRINK.
Somebody here said they were able to use DVD DECRYPTER to copy BEWITCHED, but I'll bet they also had a program like ANYDVD and weren't aware that it was running in the background making it possible. From all my experience, DVD DECRYPTER will NOT copy the new 'sony dvd protected discs' by itself!
AnyDVD is amazing! I have NEVER been able to copy a movie with DVD SHRINK that fast before! It's like giving my DVD SHRINK and NERO some steroids! I am on the trial version now, but I will be paying for this program once the trial ends unless somebody can tell me about a better option.
Does anybody like any decryter better than ANYDVD? If so, why do you like it? What do you like about it better than AnyDVD? I am open to ideas, but obviously, I am very impressed with the AnyDVD software. I just wish it was free. ;-)

For actual Decrypting, everything is equal. For correcting DVD Structures & IFOs and program updates, it is AnyDVD hands down!!! Nothing updates faster and it does fix all DVDs that are in circulation.
You are however mistaken about Decrypter not being able to handle Bewitched without AnyDVD. There are two ways to go at it. One is to download the PSL file. A PSL tells Decrypter where to insert the Dummy Sectors. The second is to rip a movie using IFO mode and then correcting the structure using IFOEdit.

I ripped an ARccOS movie using DVD Decrypter 3.1.0.0 from may of 2002. It is the same method I used for Bewitched. It shows that ARccOS is nothing but wasted money by Sony.

Yeah, I tried out PGCEdit yesterday with the Seinfeld stuff that comes with the guide and it only takes like 2 minutes to make the PSL. That is a Great Guide!!!!

gibsonm3 i dont like anything better than AnyDVD and i like the easy way out NOT using PSL files and rebuilding the movie. with CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD you put the movie in and its done in less than 25 mintues ,but iam lazy and dont have the extra time to rebulld the movies i do. so YES its well worth the money to me. as the saying goes "you get what you pay for"

DVD Decryter and DVD Shrink ain't dead yet - have yet to use AnyDVD
A simple way to bypass Sony's ACross protection and rip movies such as Madagascar is:
Rip using the ISO Read mode in DVD Decrypter
Open DVD Shrink - Go to File - Open Disk Image
Analyse - Re-Author - then burn with Nero or similar - easy.

AnyDVD hands down. It makes things much Faster, and stays updated. Decrypter is very good, but like 321 Studios, it had it's day & went away. For Free, Decrypter is hard to beat. But AnyDVD is The Best!

I started this thread and have realized that although AnyDVD is a great program, DVD43 seems to work just as well for free! Both programs appear to help other decrypter & copy programs with the new copy protection on DVD movies. However, AnyDVD & DVD43 appear to conflict with each other, so I had to dump my trial version of AnyDVD to test out DVD43.
By the way, I just backed up "Christmas With The Kranks" using an old version of DVD XCopy with DVD43 running in the background. It worked great and DVD43 is FREE!!! It also works with DVD Shrink. I am sure that AnyDVD is great, but when a free program works, I will use it every time. Just look at DVD Shrink, it's free & is one the best programs out there.

i cant believe everyone except for gibsonm3 forgot to mention DVD43, it does just as equal a job as AnyDVD and in my opinion is in fact BETTER <!> because it is free and it removes protections (including region)...
i do not like using decrypters like 'DVD Decrypter' sure as i started as a newbie, it was great, a blessing to have such ability and the fact that it was/is free, but i started getting bored and annoyed having to do two passes, one through decrpter the next through shrink, usualy taking about an hour and ten minutes in total, of course now days is about 10 minutes faster but, when i use DVD43 i do not have to go through all the ripping processes...
so i side with gibsonm3 and others that recommend using on the fly decrypters...
