no offense- but that is a really dumb post
ur system is way too slow to emulate ps3- in fact everybody's is. to emulate a system u gotta have a computer like 4 time faster than the system u wanna emulate
the ps1 is the system u can emulate rite now. the minimum specs to emulate ps1 is
3.0ghz p4 or equivalent
768mb RAM
128mb video card
correct me if im wrong

Developing emulators takes time. Also, I remember runing Bleem(PSX Emulator) on my old PC (400MHz, 96MB of Ram and 64MB AGP Video Card) and it ran just fine. I wouldn't expect PS3 emulation to be mastered until late 2007, at least. That considering both the time that home PC's catch up to the PS3 and the time it takes developers to make the emulators

Hmm, mabey one day you'll just wake up and find your email full of spam. Maybe you'll open an email with a virus, trojan, spyware on it that can damage your computer. thats why

FOr one ps1 emulator can be run on almost any basic Pc built after year 2000 for two who are you talking bout emulating the ps3 when peeople cant even emulate the ps2 (with ps2 standard graphics and 50 fps plus). SO why are you talking bout the ps3 emulator?
Yes in theroy the ps3 emulator can run on a system with a decent graphics and 2003 plus generation processer with nice ram but the graphics wont do it any justice...so :S::S:S

sorry, i was a bit frustrated here..
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

the sad thing is, is that the current ps3 can BARELY run its own games...everything shown at e3 was just rough drafts (cant think of the word =/). And gt4...yea that was shown on a pc. But anyway, yea ur pc really isnt anywhere near where you need to be, expect to have minimal AMD x2 4400+, 2gb DDR2 pc5400, and either a 512mb gfx card or SLI 256mb/SLI 512mb.

ummm...ps3 was playable at this year's E3. im not sure why you say it can barely run ps3 games, heavenly sword and fall of man...were both playable and seemed to not only run fine, but looked pretty good. yes all the games are still in development..never heard of the term "rough drafts" in the gaming biz.

" The next slide goes on to say "Don't read from local memory, but write to main memory with RSX(tm) and read it from there instead", and repeats the table numbers. This is very very bad. The number of times the presentation goes on to say that it is correct, and the lack of anything like "this will be fixed by production steppings, so take measures X, Y and Z" say to me that it is not a fixable snafu. Remember at E3 when I said that the PS3 demos there were object sparse? Any guesses why?
Someone screwed up so badly it looks like it will relegate the console to second place behind the 360. All the devs I talked to were lukewarm on the 360 architecture but universally negative on the PS3. Revelations like this go a long way to explain why you keep hearing about simmering problems from the Sony devs."

man the website "theinquirer" just got sh!t on for their previous article about cell's lack of ability to perform and actually slowing down. like stated before this site is nothing more than entertainment and secondhand information. please show me to a respectible website where you can "flame author!" its a freakin joke, and subpar if you were to ask me

the sad thing is that the ps3 has far more power than the system he thinks of emulating with
3.0 ghz p4 vs the cell
x300(128) vs rsx(512+)
come on now
this just redundant
currently have these consoles
Gamecube
Xbox
Ps2
Dreamcast
Phantom
Gba
psp
