Hi, does anyone know how to downgrade a Sony PSP from version 2.60 to version 1.50?? the reason i am asking this question is to run homebrews. Thank YOu and Have A Great Holiday Season

there wont be one for 2.6 atm because they are working on the 2.01-2.50.

omg i just read all this. im cut. but i have money to buy the games...but still id rather do it this way. i have 2.60 worst mistake of my life. so im pretty cut that i cant do nething coz i have 20 od games on disc. well have to wait til ones out someone let me no when one is out. email me at i'manidiot.com edited by ddp thanks a lot. ill be waiting for a reply which tells me a download for a emulator 2.6 or a downgrader 1.5, peace out.

Do emulators need 1.5 as well?
I heard they use overflow.tif to crash 2.5 already but no downgrade yet. On psp3d they say it'll come out in feb or something so that means 2.6 in like 5 month! :) :( :) :(

There is NOT i Repeat NOT a Downgrader being made at ALL, for FW 2.01 upwards, Because they are working on a Custom Firmware Loader for FW1.5 only & also a EBOOT Loader for all other Firmwares of 2.01 upwards of which its up to version 0.9 so far!!!!

correction - there are people working on downgraders for 2.01 upwards but they have said that it is very unlikely (which i agree with) that they will ever make one
untill they get access to kernel - so they can access flash (which for peeps that dont know is the only possible way to downgrade)
still you cannot say people ARn't working on a downgrader
of course what we and the hackers want is a iso/hombrew loader for the psp v2.01 and upwards but thats not gunna happen because of te amount of space the gta ploit allows for apps

Sony can rot in hell for upgrading the psp's firmware where it's near impossible to crack.
