mate you'll be safe, dnt worry just dont unplug the mains adapter from the psp while downgrading, it will F**k it up like hell, that's it, everything else should Be fine, many people have done it well and good

Hello, im new here so forgiv me if im wrong but when sony bring a higher version of fw than 2.6 couldnt someone do what that guy did where it incorperates version 1.5 into 2.6 so it playes the games ect?

Hey! Whats with the name stealin?! AND ADDING NUMBERS!! ;D Only messin mate!
This is the problem when Sony brings out the new firmware it will be hard to crack, at the mo firmwares 2.01 and higher ave only bein cracked in user mode and they still avent got access to KERNAL mode yet, so its gona be awhile before this happens, i take it u want to run ISO,s?

has ne1 tried to "update" to 1.5.....like get the update for the 1.5....and "upgrade"(but really downgrade)
????or does it just say...u have a higher version??
ya....mannn...i would trade ebgames...but they only give u like...half of what the psp is worth...and u have to pay the other half......maybe ill sell mine on ebay...get another one on ebay...ya...ok
cant hackers hack into the system...and delete just the code for the update....(if its possible)??

If it was all just as simple as that it would be great.
Yeah u can run homebrew on 2.60 (not ISO,s) like snes an megadrive and various other apps with a UMD of GTA:LCS.

did I understand correctly?..a downgrader will be available for firmware 2.50 in 5 months? I saw something else about emulators and stuff working on 2.50 but not iso backups of psp games...can someone clarify with this issue please?

SUP DUDES, DID YOU KNOW THAT PLAYING PSP FOR MANY HOURS, THE SCREEN CAN BURN OUT?
AND GUESS WHAT, BY GETTING A PSP 1.5 WILL NOT PLAY ALL THE PSP GAMES LIKE GTA.
OTHER THING, PUTING EMULATORS ON THE PSP WILL CORRUPT THE CPU FROM YOUR PSP, YOU THINK IT IS OK BUT THE ENULATORS ARE NOT 100% PERFECT WITH EVERY GAME YOU WANT TO PLAY.
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, MY FRIEND WORKS FOR SONY, AND HE TOLD ME ALL THESE THINGS.
I HAVE 2.6 AND I DONT CARE ABOUT THE DOWNGRADES ANYMORE, ALL I DO IS BUY USED GAMES :)
