I had the DAX umd dumper. It alowed me to dump UMD's as ISO's. I even tried to dump my demo UMD disk which always worked. It still dumps the UMD fine, but i cant manage to get it load in devhook.

Have just received 2 new Sony 4GB pro duos, Devhook 0.46 doesn't work on either. Have working 1 and 2 GB cards.

amk7691 put the DH(hd and PSP) from the 2gb to the 4gb.(or are they fake)my friend got a 2gb MS on ebay and it does not work.

Thanks Juan, That's solved the install problem but the cards are unreliable, 2GB seems dog slow and 2GB is quick. Will get back to the vendor - thanks for the installation tip though.

Um i installed devhook0.51 beta..and i go to devhook menu and i go to firmware..then i select 3.01 firmware and it just brings me righ back to the devhook menu?? Why is this happening??

that's the guide i followed to get DevHook and HenD onto my TA-082 2.71FW PSP
but the problem now is that when i go to the UMD Select in the DevHook Menu it doesnt have XMB-BOOT[usus-00001].cso as an option to select it only has UMD Disc <DIR>

Hello,
I have a PSP with 1.50FW running DevHook 0.46 which emulates up to 2.71.
Basically my problem lies with using either DevHook to run full sized .iso and .cso files, or to make them into .dax files. Obviously DevHook only does .iso and .cso.
I have basically got GTA:VCS which runs fine as a full .iso, but stutters when it is a .cso. I've read around and it states that large games will stutter when compressed, however, i've heard that it runs fine as a .dax and i'd like to give that a try.
My dilemma is that I can't get DAX ZISO to work with GTA:VCS... as it requires a 2.XX firmware. I have managed to put DAX ZISO onto my Memory Stick, and converted the game into .dax format but when I run it, it just goes black and I have to manually switch off the PSP. I assume it's down to the flash0 and flash1 folder.
So if anyone is able to give me a quick tutorial on how to actually run 2.XX games on DAX ZISO and what is supposed to be in the flash0 and flash1 folder as it says in the folders that "2.XX files go here" or send me those files etc.

Hi, encounter a problem here and maybe someone can help...
Currently, I'm using Devhook hybrid 2.71 ~ 3.01 to run WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 which is a FW2.82 game. But once I tried to launch the game, the screen is black and the system freeze! What is happening? Any ways to solve this problem?
I have also tried Devhook 0.51 but it is not stable, will shut down in the middle of the game.
Please help....

Im having problems with devhook .51.01 (newest version). I have been using DH .46 for a while with no problems but I can't seem to get the new one working correctly. I put firmware 3.02 in my root directory, installed devhook and everything. I can get to firmware 3.02 and access all of the features but when I try to start ANY game in ANY firmware it freezes after the SONY screen and then turns off. The first time running 3.02 I got a BSOD trying to run a backup iso of MGS : PO and rebooted, but this hasnt happened since. What did I do wrong?

Ok. So I am running Devhook 0.51 with 3.01 emulation. Psp wont even run a back up of my demo ISO. It runs .iso perfectly, but when I now try and back up a game then play.... NO GO....
Dont think it likes me very much.

hey im using DH 0.51 beta and it starts up perfect but while its emulating the 3.02 firmware whenever i put a umd in while its trying to load an iso it says the umd cant be read so i cant start up any iso...can anyone help me with that?
ps.
if u can, could u pm me a response because i dont know if ill log on within the next 2 days and itll be easier to just pm me a response thx in advance.

eNxy why are you posting of dax in this thread?(this is not for dax)

My GTA ISO, whenever I use devhook to play it I get to the first video than the GTA VSC logo but then the PSP Turns off please help :(

What firmware does the PSP have? If its firmware 1.5 or 2.71 then yeah its possible.

i already installed devhook using the installer the problem i have is that it doesnt wnt to read the umd while i try to load an iso.....but wen i set it to load the umd instead of iso it reads the umd thats y im stumped..anyone have a solution?
