The new key didn't work for me.
Mobile options set for never expire and DVD to DVD expired.
I used the previous Key.DVDFabDVD2DVD to get it back to where it should be.
File mover still set as trial user even though I never used it.

I have 2 6.x keys, one for DVD to DVD, the other for DVD to Mobile.
Blu-ray to Blu-ray/File to Mobile/File Mover all say Trial User/Never Been Used, and HD Decrypter Free Edition says Never Expire. So all fine here, touch wood.

That was for the first version of DVDFab 6. I have those keys. For this new version you're supposed to get a new key because some people were having problems. Fengtao is looking into this for me.

That's odd. Everything is now okay. No problem with the new key. Maybe it was a glitch on my systen but it now looks good.

Other than lumping all the options together i don't think there are going to be a whole lot of improvements/differences.

It's already become a joke and I do not see why on earth they went this route. I will just update as necessary for any tough cookies from this point on. I'm really disappointed I did not hop on AnyDVD but there's still time for it and right now should I decide I could care less about the price. It's worth every dime.

I really don't see any problems with this package. I just use the options I need. If for some reason I run into something in the future and I need some of the other options, I know that they are available to me. Other than ripping, I sometimes use the DVD to Mobile option. That's about it. The program only uses 33.5MB of HDD space. The testing I've done with this latest version have been successful.
What I would like to see is an installer that lets you choose what to install and if the user decides later on to add another option will let you run the installer again.

Exactly the same uses and sentiments here.

Then i think it's time you plumped for AnyDVD, every single reply i see from you is the same :) ~ if you're not happy with DVDFab then buy AnyDVD. As i've said before, i personally paid for DVDFab as i'd had long and successful use of the freebie version. I don't feel ripped off, i got what i paid for. But maybe that's just me (and dialysis) :)

I'm not displeased w/it's performance at all and I also purchased it very soon after trying it out. I'm only replying to the fact that it is irritating/aggravating/annoying that it's constantly being worked on in the fashion that it is. I'm not the only one that feels this way, but I am about the only one expressing myself directly. Others indirectly have posted and posted their displeasure as well.
I do agree w/you that since nothing's going to change regarding the manner in which it's being handled, then why keep posting my same sentiments.
Insanity that's why. Doing the same thing expecting different results.

I have both and I strongly prefer AnyDVD! In fact my DVD Fab Platinum will run out next week and I probably won't pony up the renewal (yeah I was dumb, cheap and slow. But with AnyDVD, there have not been many movies I could not do. And within a day or two, I have done them all. Fab is slow sometimes on the upgrades on some new releases. But they eventually get it too. Both great programs!

I can't argue that Fab is typically a bit slower on the updates for problematic movies. But, for those rare cases, i've got Anydvd on hand so it doesn't bother me in the least. :D
All in all, i used DvdFab HD Decrypter for a long time for free. As Creaky stated, in the end i got what i wanted/expected from them. Thus far i've had very few issues with it. I bought while i could still get the lifetime subscription. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'll spend a little bit on the programs that work. DvdFab, AnyDvd, and Dvd Rebuilder Pro.
At this point, i think i'm set. ;)

Thanks for posting the update bro.
That's quite the chunk of change, though i don't know that many people that would use everything. I think i've used the Mobile option twice since i bought Platinum. :)
