Hi,

Dear valued customer,

we would like to inform you, that a new version of AnyDVD
has been released. Here the list of fixes and improvements:

5.8.3.1, 2006 01 21

- New: Added support for a new version of the Sony Arccos
protection as found on "KAENA" R2 (German) to the option
to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
- New: Added support for Microsoft Windows Vista (Beta 2)
- Fix: Closes connection after automatic update check

The update is free for all registered customers, of course.
Just install the new version on top of your current version,
regardless which version you have installed:

I downloaded AnyDVD 5.8.3.1 and used it on Sony's The Fog. However, I now keep getting the following error message:

File Corrupted!
Please run a virus check then reinstall AnyDVD.

I ran a virus check with negative results. I deleted AnyDVD 5.8.3.1 then reinstalled it (I even downloaded the program again) but I am still getting the error message when using DvdShrink. The error message doesn't interfere with any of the other dvd programs I am using but I am wondering if Sony's dvd of The Fog corrupted my system somehow.

Is anyone else getting this error message using AnyDVD 5.8.3.1?

Since I made the switch to clone2 and any dvd, I have officially ran out of things to talk about in peoples threads. Now all I have to do is get my butt over to office max tomarrow because verbatims are on sale this week for 14.99 for 50. Hint Hint
