I only skimmed through the second page, but I read through both the first and the third, and I didn't find any answers.You may be wondering, "Answers to what!" well, I'll tell you. How am I supposed to take the AC3 Audio files and combine them with the M2V file?

I suppose there isn't a way to just change it to MV2 from the get-go.

Also, would it be easier for me to just go ahead and use the VOB and IFO files as was directed in a previous post?

Edit: It should also be noted that the reason I'm doing this is so I can put the videos I own on to my iPod Video, so I'm going to be transferring them into MPEG4 or MOV files to play on my iPod. At least, if I can manage to get far enough to put the videos into some encode-able codec, first.

hi there, sorry if this doesn't help, but is it possible for you to convert each individual VOB file to an AVI, and then convert the AC3 into into an AAC audio file, cos for mpeg 4 videos which are viewable in both the playstation portable adn ipod, the audio is always converted to AAC audio as i've noticed.

download virtual dub 1.5.10 from here

then open up VD and open up youre AVI, then click streams....stream list then add your AC3 audio file bu clicking add, once done click ok

then after that click the tab called video then click direct stream copy.

now click file then save as and choose AVI then click ok.

now as to make this a mp4 to watch on your ipod try using
psp video express which you can download from here
http://www.pqdvd.com/download/index.html

open it and select your AVI file which you got from virtual dub after saving (which should now have the audio in it) and convert it to mp4, try this and tell me how it goes, once again i apologise if this method doesnt work for you.
