Far as i know the US will get Black.I think everyone will get Black during release.Because at the E3 show Kaz said that it would only be released in Black first which didnt make sence because he was standing in front of the silver one...lol

its been confirmed that the ps3 will only be black. no other colors are available a this time. but when the custom order ps3's kick in you might just be able to pick your own snazzy case.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Im going to find me a aftermarket case and put one on mines so it dont look like everyones PS3. just think we have 128 day left til the release.

not sure if this happend in other areas, but the one time media play store by my place has now reopened as an F.Y.E. store, which takes preorders.

go get one! lol. ensure your safety (even tho they probably took more preorders than stock will allow.)

well the girl at the counter had no idea what to do, and she had to call the manager over to help her. they have both packages in their system and i was able to request which system i wanted. the manager said they have had only a few reservations, but considering they wouldn't tell me where i stood on the list, i am not sure what to think yet. im sure most reservations are employees or friends because not too many people know they take preorders, so i figured it was worth a shot. they said they'd call me when the time came so i'll hope for the best, but i'll still preorder at eb/gamestop when the opportunity comes just to be safe. the manager did say that after a set amount the system won't let them take anymore preorders, but they also have no idea how many they will get on launch so i don't know what the limit is or would be.

from what ive seen in the techinical documents
the core and premium will be different colors like the ds
the premium has a crome looking faceplate on it though its on the sony official ps3 website
currently have these consoles

Xbox
Ps2
Dreamcast
Phantom
Gba
