LOL good point. I could just picture one of my buddies at college getting up set at madden and throwing it and it coming back and hitting him in the face.

like shawn merriman on steriods, good to begin with, better after.. ahaha. i like to the design and im used to it, so i wont have to learn something new.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

maybe its me but their shouldnt even be a question of which is better.the wii has far better motion sensing capablities and it has the rumble feature which sony lacks completely. As far as design its all about preference and sony fans will usually stick to tsony and nintendo will stick to nintendo and so on...

the motion sensing is in no way superior. the only difference is it takes one hand to control it. all 6 degrees of motion are covered with both, but on the wii you only have to move one hand. i prefer moving both, and i prefer symmetry, so i like the ps3's controller more.

But dont they cover the six degree differently.
I think i read something once (i could be very wrong about this so corect me) that said sony use pitch, roll and yaw while nintendo is using forward/reverse, left/right, up/down

The wii-mote has the same motion sensing capabilities as the ps3 controller does, but on top of that, the Wii itself can detect the exact position of the controller in 3d space, thus allowing for a "pointer" to be used, something that the ps3 controller does not possess. This is why the Wii needs that "sensor bar".

it doesnt fin its position, but it can estimate by the signals it recieves what it is looking at. i dont know what use that would have other than being like a mouse or a new duck hunt.

I find it funny that sony is talking about a second eye toy as if it will be their killer app. eye toy was neat but still more of a novelty than something a gamer would take seriously

for the first time around i thought eye toy was pretty successful. i think its fair to say its successor will be much improved and more popular, not to mention i have not seen an xbox or nintendo peripheral of the like. so like other features with the ps3, it is again something MORE than what its counterparts have to offer...
