Alot of hype have been generated by both the wii-mote and the revamp of the ps3 control.
Sony has been call imitators and nintendo just plain crazy or pure genius.
Well the discussion is open once agian.

Do you guys think Sony will incorporate the motion sensing into all of its games and if so in what ways could it be used for a football game like madden or basketball like live????

i didnt think sony was going to incorporate that in ALL the games, but who knows. as far as an NBA or any other sports game, i think it could be used to juke players out...maybe incorporate with the trigger buttons and use that as a shoulder or head 'move' only problem is how sensitive is this going to be, i mean hypothetically if they did incorporate that into a sports game, i really don't need to be flailing my arms all over the place trying to make a move or something...knocking sh*t over...but again i dont know how everything is going to work

I don't think it can be incorperated into all games because some games just don't have a use for it.But i have to feel both the wii and the ps3 in my hands before I can make an educated guess.
I'm still not confident in a one handed remote type controller with motion sensing.I know about the nunchuck. It's just not what I'm used to.I ve been using a 2 handed gamepad since the nes.But nintendo has a great price point with the exception of the games and they might be able to win me over.

It will be a new expirence using both the controls.
I really dont think all ps3 games will take advantage of the sensors.
With the wii though all the games will use motion sensing so not much of a choise on that system.

Yeh thats true but from ive seen they have made it work and work well with the wii but sony seems like its just going to be a minor feature that will be used on racing and flying games and thrown in on some other games but not with any major significance.thats why i dont like the new ps3 controller with the motion sensing they took out the rumble to add a feature thst wont even be previlant in all of its games at least with the rumble pretty much all games used to and used it well.

The only way i see Ps3 using motion-sensing in all games is if they make little adjustments like using it to turn or look sideways, racing and maybe airplane games or something.
The only thing I can't see the Wii remote doing is for games like super smash bros. It would look easier to use the GCN or the other controller rather than the motion-sensing remote for those kinds of games. The Wii controller will be better for fps , racing games, and possibly air games.

I agree with you on that one, motion sensing will only be used in not so many wasy just maily for racing/flying games and leaning over in some other games.

not completely true. Nintendo announced that the main method of control in SSBB will be the stick and the buttons. I assume the motion control will just replace the c stick or be used for special attacks or just for menus or something like that. Also theres zelda. You move with the analog stick, sword with the B button, and assign items to the arrows. Motion control is just used for special attacks, fishing, and controling the helper fairy. Both of those use buttons mainly, but yeah, I see what your saying. The motion sensor in PS3 controller was put in as an after thought and will only sense tilt. Id personaly have to go with the Wii controller.

i think he meant that most of the nintendo games will use the motion sensing, whereas maybe not a whole lot of ps3 games will use it.
you mentioned SSBB, which is one of the ONLY games coming out that won't be using the wii-mote. zelda is using th wii-mote and nunchuk attachment. basically every game they showed at e3 this year used the wiimote with or without the nunchuk.
ps3, on the other hand, only had warhawk, right?
I think later on most ps3 games will use the tilt. but I don't think so right away.

i happend to be in my early 20s...i have several times debated about whether or not i would get a wii. the real main reason for me is the ability to play all the old classics that i enjoyed growing up. plus i just think it would be fun, especially if i had a little one (which i don't) to share the experiences with. i agree with svt. you're walking on thin ice yet again....be wise and edit your post

Nintendo's games are fun and fun isn't just for kids. By calling it "wee wee" that makes it sound as if it were urine. Why dont you just leave and play with your 50 cent bullet proof and 187 ride or die and leave us alone?
