I don't want to pay more than $69.99.I hope it's not that mcuh but I'm not paying anymore than that.I do aggree that if you get more game than it should be more money but only to a certain extent.

Exactly. And another problem in the gaming industry is when a company and team makes a really bad a and amazing game (examples: oblivion, half-life 2, halo, shadow of the colossus) it raises the bar for everyone..meaning the expectations for that company's NEXT game or newest game and all other games. Lets say people are expecting elder scrolls v.. After the blown away iv, gamers and people will obviously expect v to be bigger, better, more extreme. So by making an amazing game it also spoils (not saying that's bad) gamers and the industry making it harder, tougher, and longer to make a following up game more immerse and more impressive. So it takes years for these hardcore games to come out and big teams and alot of money, tools, and skill. Which in turn makes the literal price of the game more.

I'll probably wait half a year or so til i get a ps3, but if i were to get 1 near release date i'm planning to just buy a few games, most importantly Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 :) I think i could live off just that for a good month or so lol

the problem I have with a universal price point is that, like you said, crap games come out that took very little time and money to develop and are played throught in less than 15 hours for just as much as huge great games like elder scrolls and GTA and Zelda. Take current gen for example: very few current gen games warrent their $50 price tag, and I dont think this trend will change for next gen. Sure the majority of the next gen games weve seen look amazing but there will always be developer making movie based games to try to cash in.

Your exactly correct.At the same time most of those "crap" games won't be $50 for long and In only a couple months are at $20.It will only hold it's price if it's truley good.

Exactly. If they still don't sell and they realize that they've lost money on this one then hopefully, now that its even more expensive to make games, they'll make the next title a good one. Or at least above par

ya and sadly, through the history of game consoles, it has been like that almost everytime except for a few exceptions like mario 64. so far i can only name 2 titles on the xbox 360 that are worth the money :/

soon to come, oh yes i belive it. there are tons of great titles about to be released but right now i can name 5. maybe 6. i don't know if prey is any good.
i'm not being negative or trying to be. i am just saying, there is no true reason to have 360, yet. the great titles are soon to be released, along with the exclusive.

I'm all for COD3. I think it will even be worth more than the x360 version seing that it will support tilt functionality. I can't wait to see just how they incorperate that

ya coding like that just blows my mind. makes my knowledge in coding make me look like a n00b...actually i am n00b. i jsut hope there will be more freedom in call of duty 3. 2 just felt like a pathway you were going along with invisible walls around you. hope its longer too.

Well i loved that about 2 because so much is going on and the game still doesn't allow you to get lost or stop and say ummmm what was i supposed to do again. Sometime i just like that especially for shooters but not much in rpgs

yea but i still hope there is more freedom and more dynamic gameplay, so the replay value is higher. like different events will happen and ai will be different depending on the things that happen instead of scripted gameplay/events. like F.E.A.R and have more places to explore or bigger field but not too big (like rpgs). keeping it a warfare battleground that is.

cod will be great just like all the other cod's but moh is willing to answer that so keep it in mind.
I agree with alafossb about there only being a few good games for 360.I have one and the games are kinda.....I can't find the word I'm looking for.

I mean wtf? When's the long awaited halo3 man ,it's been a year since the console released almost.Now they are saying it may be delayed.What good games do we have for 360 that are exclusive?

ya halo 3 is the only "exclusive" title that makes me even ponder on having a 360..but i'll just go to a friends house and beat it when it comes out. no matter how great the multiplayer is, i am not going to buy a next-gen system for a single game.
