And before, I meant to ask if the red light thing is only happening to Samsung drives. I haven't heard of any Hitachi's that have had a single problem as of yet.

Toshiba Samsung. Not sure what excet model number becuase I havn't taken it apart but it was made in apirl. If that helps?

when you re flash the 360 DOES IT HAVE TO BE THE SAME as wot u had on it originaly or can u just flash it with the latest FW.. any reply's would be very grateful.and is it hard to flash the 360?

Rm you might want to remove your email before you get yelled at for it. also i dont think anyone elses key will work with your drive. i think they are all unique to their own drive. but send me a pm, and ill send you a copy of mine when i get back to the house.

I thought it was only the certain section with the key. You know the part from $4000-4400 that gets inserted into xtreme.bin. So I think if I used someone else's m25 orig.bin FW and inserted my key it would be good.
Good lookin out wabashman. Thanks I removed the email. PM me if you have a m25 orig. FW. Or anyone for that matter so I can compare them to see if my hunch is correct. I'll send you my email. Thanks

Well just to give you guys an update I used HexCmp to compare 2 orig.bin Samsung MS25 FW files and the only diff. was the unique key found in between 4000-4400. I'm sure I'm not the first to have discovered this but I had to prove it for myself & I thought I'd post this type of info here for anyone stuck with trying to go back to an orig. FW and maybe had lost theirs like I did. I know- Idiot! ;/
Luckily I still have my unique key from my xtreme FW file. Now I'll try going back first to Orig FW - Update Xbox Fall Update - then upgrade to Xtreme42, just to be on the safe side. I know I could probably just go to X42 and do the update but I'm a little "How you say...Paranoid" (say w/Scarface accent) ;)

So when you don't have the oringal fw on your drive. Put it on a cd, a dvd a floppy and save it to your hd. ITS LIKE BOOM HEADSHOT!
