You can use rst viewer to read the keys but your rst.hex is outdated.

OK, I managed to find the current keys ;-) and I programmed the Funcard.

Do I need to do a complete scan again with the card inserted?

No, insert the funcard and switch to a scrambled channel.

The funcard is wrong inserted or wrong programmed.
You have to insert the funcard with the contacts downwards and backwards.
You have to programm first the eeprom and then the flash.hex.

OK, I'm gonna have to fess up.

I had the card inserted the wrong way! DUH

Still getting a black screen though.

I'm pretty sure that I'm programming the Funcard properly.

Maybe it's the Flash and Internal Eeprom that I found that's not correct?

BTW, I'm leaving the External Eeprom untouched.

Use the funcard package from the second side of this thread.
If the funcard was valid programmed you see a card number behind SER in the caminfo menue.
Btw. the internal eprom is not used for a dbox1, only the external and flash.

Bingo !!!

Mate, you should see my ugly mug :)

I am well pleased :)

I missed the England game but didn't miss much by the sound of things.

Thanks very much for all your help.

If you've got a Paypal account, PM me the details because I want to buy you a few beers :)

Congratulation. The onliest disadvantage of a dbox1 is the missing autoupdate feature.
Currently the keys are rolling every week or every second week and you have to update the keys at the funcard.

I can live with that!

Not ideal but at least I haven't paid £400 for five Breeze Blocks :)

It was my fault for not reading the Ebay description properly. You live and learn.

Is there a website where I can get the new keys when they are renewed?

Sorry, I know only forums with up-to-date rst-hex files.
For rearranging your channel list you should search for dvbedit and buy a nullmodem cable.

I've had a Null Modem Cable for a while and the Vendor of the DBox1's was gracious enough to supply me with a CD containing DVBEdit, lol.

I'm going to have a play with that when I get some more freetime.

You didn't send me a PM with your Paypal account number. I like your style. It's not often you meet a total stranger that is willing to help out like you did.

I appreciate all your help and wish you goog Karma :)

I wouldn't say it's a piece of crap.

I'm getting all the channels I need apart from Prem Plus and Discovery Channel.

I even get a couple of Lame Porno channels, lol.

It's been working for 9 days straight so far.

Don't know where I'm gonna get new keys from yet but I'm very happy.

It looks like you didn't scan the frequency with Discovery.

Hi, I'll try doing another scan.

You know I told you that I bought 5 of these boxes? I've got another four multicams with the Amon 5.4 patch being sent to me (maybe).

I thought I'd upload the DVB file from the working box to the other 4 using dvbedit. It didn't work.

I took the amon from the working box and put it in each of the other boxes and tried a scan also.

None of the four boxes will work! When I put the amon back in the original working box, it's ok.

Do these Amons ONLY work in the first box they are put in?

Or, should it work in all of the boxes?

Wierd!

It depends which dvb2000 versions are on the boxes.
The speed for the serial connector must be set to 38400 inside dvb2000 to get dvbedit working.
Some dvb2000 versions with ecm patch need some playing with the settings.
Normally the dbox1fun files should work with every unpatched dvb2000.
