You can get the scrambled movie channels only with a amon cam and a funcard at a dbox1.
Check your neighbourhood for digital boxes. Maybe you are connected to a old analogue only cable network. There are still a few left over in the UK.

Are you sure digital channels are offered via your feed?
Ignoring facts doesn't help. If you are connected to a old analogue cable feed no digital box is able to work.

its not the old cable mate is new ntl digi i was gettin b4 so fuck knows why it dont work

People, mgb17 is the only person posting on this thread that knows what he is talking about.
With his help I have got the five Dbox1 that I bought working. I get the scrambled channels only because I bought five of the Amon 5.4 Multicams from a German Ebay seller.
You can get the FTA channels with no cam inside but for Sky Sports 1 etc, you have to get the Amon.
I was getting the 'no signal' message all the time because I was putting in the wrong frequency. I kept trying different frequencies and all of a sudden it started working!
You must also have a properly programmed Funcard or the Amon card is useless.
Keep trying, they do work.

I did a full scan and everything was ok again!
Still can't get any of the Discovery channels though. I've done a full scan @ 10 times already.

hi , i got dbox i dont no it,s one or two i bought it from ebay it says DVB2000 when we switch it on any way problem is it cant find the channels even free to view.please can any body help me.what,s problem.

Menue button(green or blue) -> 6
Press 1 and type the first 4 digits of the default frequency for your area.
Press 3 and type 06887 or 06952 depending on your area.
Press menue button again and then 8 -> 6 -> 3. Select with 9 scan nit only, select with 2 replace, start with 1 the scan.

dear i did as you say but all the same no channels at all. i just find one more thing when i exit all the menu then screen get,s black
but on the left corner there is red cross stays like no signal mark.
i dont no what is that. can any body tell me what it could be.

can any body tell what it could be if ther is no signal in dbox1 DB2000.when i press 8-6-3-1 start serching but no channels.then i used 6-9 it says ERR :no sig what is this can any body helpme.

You need the first 4 digits of the default frequency for your area and the symbol rate.

i got dox2 as well that one works perfect when i tune that box first time i try on 6852 but could not find the channels the i try on 6952 then that box find all the channels but on this box i tryed both freq
but no success.if any body knows freq and symbol rate for Preston, or blackburn area please help.

Download the services.xml from your dbox2 and try all frequencies from that file via the tuner menue. If you do a search via the tuner menue and click ok you can store all found channels.

If the frequency is wrong there is no signal at that frequency.
Try 6667 for the freqeuncy. You have to type a leading zero for the symbol rate.
