Hey, I wanted to know if you could help me out. I have a slim PS2 and it is not reading discs anymore. I made a video (Click Here) and Im just not sure if the problem is the laser or the whole laser assembly. Also, if you knew of some trusty sites I could buy the parts I need.
hey there mayb you can help me? I have a ps2 slim silver 79001 and i was wondering what the best route is to modify it so i can play back up games and ect... I looked into swap magic 3.6 and Free Mcboot and cover lids and gameshark and action replay max. i cant seem to find anything on my ps2 on what to use or how to block sensors. can ya help?
hey there justguess, i actually modded my ps2 a while ago but i recently found a video tutorial (HERE) that shows you how to block the sensors. after yo block the sensors, you can buy the swap magic disc and load it up.
yea but it depends what country you live in. click here and it will take you to the official swap magic 3 website. it will tell you some sites depending on the country you are located in.

Hello, i have a 39004 PAL no modding
when i put the power on i get the 'browser-systemconfiguration' screen alright. After about 60sec the screen with the 'turn lights of ps2' becomes flashy and then after 5 sec it freezes and then turns to black with a little flicker on the bottom of the screen.
When i switch the ps2 off and let the power off for about an hour and put it on again, i get again the browser etc. and the same weird thing repeats itself.
So im in the process of trying to get the MC Exploit to work with my fat ps2 so i can use a HDD to store backup games to play with it, my only problem is i need a program called PS2 save builder 0.8. Ive downloaded it numerous times and from several different sites, but all of them are just proptree.dll files, i dont know if this is it or what but i cant open the file or getting it working, i know what to do beyond that but if you could help me either find a working 0.8 version or elaborate on how to properly open these files that would be great.
hey kitoudark, the file you are gettin isnt the application itself, you can get it HERE, its a really good website to get started and you can get many apps from there.
