I've got this on the 21 day trial, guess I will buy it when its time because so many of you think its the best. My question is, I read you need to turn it off to burn some movies, is this so and why? I tryed to copy Bringing down the house and I got my first error. I'm new to this but I would have thought a silly movie like that wouldn't be a problem. DO I need to try it with anydvd off. Thanks guys your a lot of help to us newbies

I did the same dvd about a year ago with AnyDVD and shrink. Besides telling you to check out dvd rebuilder, a good question would be what type of error was it.

I don't recall the error but I'll try again today and let you know tonight. Thanks for the help. I have been doing some more reading and maybe I'll try the ripp to file thing with Decrypter and then see if shrink will work. Learning a ton on this site. Thanks to all

I always rip in file mode with decryptor and than use shrink. This accomplisehes two things in my mind.

1. Less wear and tear on my burner. It doesn't have to run the whole time shrink is.

2. Much faster. The files run faster in shrink off my hard drive than they ever did through my burner.

Of course that's just my opinion.
