what would be the point of releasing halo 3 on the same day as the ps3 release it wouldnt put down there proffits one bit the only thing that it would do is make huge line ups at stores
Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity but I am not so sure about the universe.

FOR THE 50TH TIME. HALO 3 WILL NOT BE COMING OUT ON THE SAME DAY/WEEK/YEAR/MONTH AS THE PS3.
This thread is never gonna go ANYWHERE if people keep asking the same questions and saying the same things. YOU MUST read back in the thread to therefore contribute. This thread is over 30 pages long. The likelihood is that we have already discussed what you (the poster) is about to say. So please show some respect and atleast read the last 5 pages or so. Aferall its not really that much and it wont take you very long. If you want to post on this thread then you are obviously interested in Halo 3 enough to read some previous posts.

Hey newbie dont come in here with your capital letters yelling at us. This has already been discussed so i dont know who your getting loud with. PS3 will NOT be relesed this spring u moron. Im almost 99% sure it will be talked about at E3 '06 in MAY. halo3 will NOT be released along side the ps3 to take sales. Bill Gates was full of Crap. And now if it isnt clear you will not be getting halo3 this spring because its not ready and if they do release it with the ps3 launch or around it(which they arent) it wont be till next xmas. There is a very strong chance we wont get halo3 till late '06 or even '07 some time. Read the previous posts newbie and i dont think your alowd to write in all caps. better hope the moderator doesnt get mad.

I agree. People have no idea how annoying it is when I've (or anyone) has explained something in great detail, only for the same question to be asked yet again.

I am a noob and sorry for being one i just joined afterdawn a few months ago and yes i read back in the forum and you were complaining about 'noobs' and halolord think would bungie release it in spring They need more time i heard ( i am just saying papa i just heard and i didn't read it in the forum or i haven't seen it ) they were barely done with the MC when i heard they weren't even done with his legs

Ive been tryin to say that, halo3 wont be realease the same day as PS3, in the past but every1 was like no no releasing it the same day as PS3 will create a "competition"
in reality there was NO competion bc it is a video GAME and a gaming CONSOLE! not the same market

the whole idea of releasing halo3 to take sales isnt in the game people its saying to people "would you rather buy this brand new console or buy xbox360 (which has xbox live etc) and have halo3 which sony doesnt have. In other word "Dont buy from them(sony ps3) buy from us we have halo3, nananana na naaa!" you know just insert an annoying kid voice and u can picture it.

i could see m$ spitting out a commercial like that. or fanboys in little booths outside stores handing out pamphlets of proaganda not to buy the ps3.

but see most ppl have already made up their minds by now of whether or not they will b gettin 360 or PS3 bc ne1 who hasnt gottin a 360 yet and is waiting for halo 3 to arrive will still get the 360 over PS3 and ne1 wanting the Ps3 when it comes out obviously doesnt like halo or xbox so halo 3 comin out wouldnt affect ehm at all excet they might have to wait in a longer line to get out of the store with their brand new PS3

i think reducing the price of the xbox 360 the day the ps3 comes out would be a way better strategy for microsoft. rumor is the ps3 will be cheeper than the xbox 360, and thats a large deciding point itself. xbox 360 needs to adjust its price so its equal or less than the ps3, because like many people, i dont have 300$ just laying around (quite an investment)...

yeah, no one knows. many people are talking about the companie that is to produce the halo 3 dvd's has the game and is waiting for the green light for production. other people say thats a lie and that they dont have much dont on it if any. halo 2 is old, so i could see it being done or nearly.
