Many won't have access to this movie prior to 6/6. Yes there is new copy protection about. DVDFab Decrypter was just updated. Have you tried that one yet? I have no idea whether this title has the new protection or not. If there is new peotection, I'm sure AnyDVD will be updated shortly.

Doesn't sound like a new encryption... if you can't find your drive... that's a big problem.

Check my post for Underworld Revo......I mentioned there that this update was so "Great" that I don't need the 5.9.6.3 upgrade as of now. I'm able to back up movies with major encryption with just AnyDVD 5.9.6.2 and Nero..............like I said there in the other post that's amazing!:P

DVD Fab (Version 2.9.7.9) with Shrink and Recode 2 worked fine. So did Underworld Evo,Glory Rd and Runnin Scared.
As long as your rippers are up to date you should be fine. Unless U got a bad press

Like I said, you don't need to compress Underworld Evolution(4169 MB)if you want to back up the main movie by itself. It will fit on a single layer disc(DVD5) with some room to spare even with all the audio tracks and subtitles included.

I did Firewall this afternoon with DVD Shrink with Nero burning. As always, AnyDVD was running in the background. I had no problems at all.
Good luck, y'all.

@JVC, Get the new versions of AnyDVD either 5.9.6.2 or 5.9.6.3 and you will no longer need SHRINK 3.2 Sounds crazy but it's true. I'm using just AnyDVD in the backround and Nero to back up the latest flicks i.e."Underworld Revo" "Glory Road" which both have SONY Arccos or Macrovisions Ripgaurd. Just a heads up.:P

For those of you who are having problems being able to get firewall to read in your drives, update your firmware. My drive is a LG gsa-4166b and it would not even recognize that the disk was in the drive. I updated my firmware on the drive and now i have no problems.

@N2DVD...........
I have 5.9.6.3, and I like Shrink, but thanks anyway. AnyDVD does the ripping, and Nero burns. What shrinks the movie to fit a single layer disc? If you're talking about Recode, I don't have that. My Nero is the OEM version that came with my burner. I don't have the retail version.
I also have CloneDVD, which works great with AnyDVD. I've not found a movie yet, that AnyDVD and CloneDVD can't handle. I just usually use Shrink, until I get a movie that Shrink won't do. Then I use CloneDVD.
If you're not talking about Recode, I'd like to know how you're shrinking your movies. Thanks..........
EDIT
I did a Google search for Recode, and found it to be a free download. So, I downloaded it. I always thought it came only with the retail version. I played with it some, and got it to work, but it seems awfully slow, compared to Shrink. I'll have to play with it some more.

I used DVD Decrypter (without running anything else) and to my surpise it ripped successfully without and errors. It loaded in Shrink fine and is almost done burning now. I will assume everything will play correctly in the DVD player for now. If I find differently I will edit my post.
