Hi- for those who know what this is, you know it costs 'a lot'(well, over $20 LOL). Would it be worth it to buy the CDs on eBay? The seller I was looking at has 100% and a lot of it is for these CDs. I know SlySoft says not to, but I think they just don't want to lose money.
I appreciate their work, but I don't have $59, and the ones on eBay are $6.49 with free shipping. What do you guys think? Kegan

Dont be fooled into buying programs from eBay...there is NO guarantee it's the REAL thing...how can they possibly sell the genuine article for such a ridiculous price!!!
BTW I have a large house block for sale for only $7.50

kzm007, thats ad is bogus and needs to be reported to e-bay and slysoft DONT touch it. if you post the link i will be glad to report it.
anyway you DONT need a CD you download the product from the website and you backup the keycode to a floppy or CD thats whats important to keep!!!

Get the originals from Slysoft, kzm007, why risk wasting your money? You won't be disappointed!
@Gwendolin, how many bedrooms is that house? And do you do your own financing? Times are a little tight here after my last media purchase. I think my girlfriend hid my Visa again...

i say go ahead and buy it on e-bay,then soon ye will be back asking for why it will not copy my movie..and that the program quit working..
as to be sure its a old version and activated by a crack..
and can not ever be upgraded to the current versions...of...

IF $ is an issue why not just go with DVD Fab Decrypter and DVD Shrink both are free..

don't think Slysoft sells these 2 programs
on CD, from what i have read..............
that right there would tell me those CD's on ebay are
bogus......................
ebay is great for a lot of things, but when you start
buying blank media and programs, your probably going
to be taken................

I contacted Slysoft in the past about someone selling AnyDVD and CloneDVD on ebay at a cheap price and this is the message I received:
Hi,
This guy is selling cracked software. Our lawyers are already preparing
the necessary steps. Ebay seems not to be willing to ban illegal
transactions on their platform.

Well...It wasn't for me it was for my brother who won't get an eBay account. However, it is his money and he decided he would buy it without using my PayPal (through a money order) anyway. I just hope it lasts until he can pony up the $59 (I wanted to use it too LOL). I really am impressed with the software!

They have a CD Box version of Clone-DVD, priced at 46EU ($59)...
Legal or Laughable?

Just get it through slysoft. There's no disc to play with. You receive a key and use it. That key lasts until the program dies or the world ends--which ever comes first lol.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

kzm007, anywhere you can buy CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD other than there website is bogus PERIOD!!!
do you understand if you buy it on cd buy the time you get it it will be outdated? it updates weekly were at 6.0.0.4 as i type this. so your buying a cracked verison that will not update and do the newer movies it would be like buying half a car

Alright, alright. Not gonna do it. I still think $59 is pricey (damn good program though!). If they lowered the price, more people may buy the legal version; simple mathematics. Thanks guys, Kegan

dam,today i had my first bad pressed movie,i right clicked AnyDVD on the task-bar and ripped it to the hard drive..that fixed it...then use CloneDVD to rip and burn..
movie,nanny mcphee,7.70gb...

BTW...I like the new interface. I used the fast and noisy setting (it was still quiet) for my dvd-rom drive, and the read time was substantially faster than previously. I recently found that my dvd-rom drive is riplocked. UGH! Have been waiting patiently for son to pay me a visit and unlock using Dangerous Bros' firmware.
I found the disc information, protections, etc. was there, just had to right click "Anydvd", settings, status.
Kudos to Slysoft!

That was one of my bad pressings too. I thought it was the disc (because it wa scratched) so I sent it back, am waiting for new one. What do we do, wait for an update and try again? Kegan

if its a bad pressing your going to have a hard time ripping it with any program ,probably your best bet is to try Intervideo DVDCopy 4

Well the DVD was region 2 PAL, after the lady said it was Region 1 NTSC. It was also rated R for strong everything LOL. Oh well, it wa sonly 10 bucks. At least it plays in my DVD player. I will try Intervideo, thanks. Kegan
