AnyDVD says it can "decrypt without saving to a hard disc". What does this mean? And how do I activate this feature on my PC?

Hi bryanwake
AnyDVD runs in the background breaking the copy protection with your program of choice - best w/ CloneDVD.

It also has a ripper too if you want to rip to your hard drive 1st.

So just have it running with whatever program you are using - no need to rip to the hard drive 1st then open with those file w/ another program.

Okay...AnyDVD works in the BACKGROUND...cool!

When it says it can "burn without saving to a hard drive" does that mean I can decrypt a DVD, shrink and recode a DVD, then burn it to another disc without saving ANYTHING to my hard drive? Or am I way off?

Well whatever program you using with AnyDVD will save it to the hard drive but may only be temporarily. Like CloneDVD by default (unless you change it) only saves it temporarily. You still need at least approx 5 gig free if doing a single layer dvd.
But yes you can rip/encode & burn in a few clicks depending on what other program you using with it.

You could always 'burn on the fly' though but I'd stay away from that - could be costly coasters. For most commerical dvd's would need dual layer media to burn to (and a dual layer burner)
