Need help with AnyDVD, on some movies when using AnyDVD and I burn a copy all I get is the directors cut and not the main movie what am I doing wrong. Am I missing a setting or is this some type of copy protection that AnyDVD is missing.

I can assure you it's NOT AnyDVD. Honestly, there isn't anything AnyDVD can't handle.

When you say "Director's Cut" do you mean director's commentary? Since I dunno how you can get a director's cut version of a film instead of the main movie.

If you mean the commentary, it's probably something you're (un)checking in Shrink (if that's what you're using).

what program are you transcoding with?

to fix it "uncheck" the 2 channel audio when your re-authoring just check the 6 channel audio only!!

Its the diretors commentary that is copying. Am using AnyDVD with CloneDVD and it works most of the except when this happens. I'll try just keeping the 6 channel when recording.

Just confirming what version of AnyDVD you are using ? Should be 6.0.1.1 or the latest version. I know I had similar problems with that movie "Stealth" last year until I updated my AnyDVD.

AnyDVD only decrypts and presents a region free DVD for further action by your transcoder of choice. Selections you make here are what affects the final copy.
