AnyDVD Drops 'VIDEO_TS.VOB' File When Ripping

I normally rip DVDs to my hard drive with AnyDVD before compressing with DVD Shrink. For some reason, the 'VIDEO_TS.VOB' file is not included in the ripped files. DVD Shrink will not let you do a backup without it. I can still just extract the movie only without the menus using Shrink, but this is annoying. I can also go back to the original DVD and just manually copy that one file. None of the boxes about excluding trailers, headers, etc. are checked in AnyDVD.

you can rip it and compress it with DVD Shrink. Try that. It always works for me!

Try ripping it w/ DVDDecrypterusing AnyDVD as the decrypter ( W/in DVDD set I/O Model to SPTI or ElbyCDIO. Set CSS Cracking method to none. Disable checking for Structure Protection.) See if the file turns up now. You might have a bad disk but DVDD will tell you if it gets any read errors

Since Shrink has not been updated in about 2 1/2+ years it can not do the newer movies w/ the different encryptions. That is why you need a good ripper
