Others have had success with the AnyDVD/CloneDVD combo or the RipIt4me programs.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/373310 Clone DVD also has a 21 free trial. The RipIt4Me is all free.
Me - I'll try it next week w/ AnyDVD with CloneDVD or Recode.

@ All the afterdawn regulars
Remember the 'This tuesdayz verdict' guy??? At least he got it right!!!
Please learn how to backup movies if you get new releases weeks in advance. Most of us don't work at blockbuster and you create a bogus scare for the ones that have to get there movies in REAL TIME!!!!

Yep I remember the Tues. verdict poster :)
@300bowler
I doubt I'll have any problems either.
One thing that can be good for those who do get the movies and use AnyDVD - if it doesn't work on the copy protection - just send the ifo file to Slysoft and it will be solved usually before the release date. Last time this happened from what I remember was Lords of Dogtown. Those who had early access sent the ifo's to Slysoft and sure enuf before the release date problem solved.

Lords of Dogtown was my first swerve in the road with Xcopy. I googled "How to copy Lords of dogtown" and it sent me to an afterdawn thread that fixed the problem. Haven't used the prog. since that day from all the stuff I have learned from all the afterdawn junkies. I'm at the point where I can rub 2 sticks together and copy anything.

Yeah, there are a lot of ex XCopy users on this forum. XCopy is what brought me here when I could not backup Friday Night Lights. Found out about all the freebies, and never looked back.

If "Inside Man don't work" maybe you should try to get an "Outside Man". Probably would work better and more efficiently and could most likely also correct grammer and spelling....

The inference I read was that if you owned the original you could post the AnyDVD info, a rental disc would have been returned and not available. At least that's what I got form reading the posts,,,,,

Hi mscajun22
Have you tried AnyDVD & CloneDVD?
Not free but pretty easy to use. They do have a 21 day free trial.
http://slysoft.com
What programs have your tried? How is it messing up?
