Use RipIt4Me in iso mode if you are going to do a dual layer disk all you need to do then is just do the rip and burn with ImgBurn. If you only want the movie then I suggest using a single layer disk, and use 1click mode in RipIt4Me, movie only or movie + menu and let the program go through DVD Shrink. Compression for the movie is at 82% which is not bad, just make sure you uncheck the 2channel audio and the directors comments.

I have never used AnyDVD before. DVDFab and SHrink has alwasy done me proud. Do I just start AnyDVD and then put movie in and then crank up Shrink? I have Inside Man and trying to figure it out

Yep that's about it - you'll see a red fox in the system tray - once the dvd is inserted give AnyDVD a min. to read it then crank up Shrink.
DVDFab should handle this one - are you using the latest version - 2.9.8.3?

Pretty sure I have the current version of Fab. I get the message from it to look for newest version and it didn't pop up asking this time. I tried AnyDVD when Inside man was first injected, then started Shrink, and it stopped and gave me a message at around 1% or coding?

Did you get the message when it was analysisng the dvd (1st step) or during the encoding?
What error did Fab and Shrink give you?

It goes through the analyzing process (Shrink) fine up to where you can uncheck the foreign languages and where to burn the backup. Then you click ok and while in the encoding process it gives me a parameter error?

Yep in reauthor mode. If your doing movie only make sure you see the red fox in the bottom right hand corner of windows.

I don't know why some (so many) people are having issues left to right about INSIDE MAN, RV, or whenever there's a new released hit the market etc. So stop being lazy and starts to do some homeworks, read them carefully and you'll be glad in the end. All you need is either "RipIt4Me" or "DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker" simple as that.
The choice is yours, it's up to you to learn how to become an "advance user" or simply ask questions all the times when new movies/dvds hit the market. Because I sure get tired of answering the same old question in 5 - 10 threads in regards to the same movie.
Below is what I've already provided, so the choice is yours. Choose your method, either pay for AnyDVD if you have no idea whatosever, or use "DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker" or RipIt4Me (DVD Decrypter + FixVTS) period.

Again, don't sweat Insideman ain't all that, it's how you use the programs and how you process/clean those unwanted junks.

** PgcEdit - a very useful FREE editing tool.

Ok, running AnyDVD in background and started Shrink. Since I have never used it and too lazy to read I clicked on the DVD files in my burner/reader. I switched Shrink to reauthor and dragged and dropped movie only to left side and it "appears" to be doing it's thing. It would lock up things at around 1% of Shrink encoding when doing a total backup. With just the main movie it is at 14% and humming right along.
*fingers crossed*
Would you recommend getting AnyDVD (purchasing) and using it fulltime rather than sticking with my DVDFab then Shrink?

I mainly use AnyDVD w/ Clone, Recode or Shrink. Use the other methods too sometimes. I've had no problems with any new releases no matter what I used.
The choice is yours.
As alkohol pointed out there are also free ways too.

Absolutly no problem using AnyDVD and clone, especially if your not to computer savvy, so easy to use and well worth every penny.

ok, its the same problem as last year with shaun of teh dead and bourn supremecy. so the same trick works with their new security. when you open it up at the dvd shrik page then go to the unreference material and the top file that is 43mb i belive, playing on hte bottom left corner in the video preview screen, you will see a boy jumping over the universal studio light over and over again, change teh compression to still image for this file and boom there you go back it up , you just cracked it ;) that easy.

AnyDVD AND DVDCLONE2, OR IF YOU USEIN A OLDER AnyDVD AND ITS GOT SOMTHING IN THE MENU JUST USE AnyDVD AND DVDSHRINK AND REAUTHOUR THE MOVIE ONLY
