Seen the preview for this game(Dead Rising) Today on tv they make it look real good.
Do you guys think they will bring this game to PS2 or PS3?
Why do they release some games only for one system?
I would love to see this game or a game like this on PS.
I was looking at some screenshots but they did not look so good.

Some games are exclusive which means they have a contract to only produce the game on one system for this they recieve various bonuses such as paid advertisments,and extra cut of the game sales,etc...
Other times it's for hardware reasons for instance doom 3 could only run on xbox 1 so it never came out for ps2 because the system requirements were to low.

I would love to see it on PS3 as well but it doesn't make much of a difference to me. I'm not all that interested in it

i am always complaining about games but i downloaded the demo last night and it is AMAZING!!! who doesn't like throwing pearls and bags of flour at zombies?

I think once that's released then all memories of Dead Rising will fade.
Dont Capcom make both these games?

DEAD RISING is a trademark of CAPCOM CO., LTD. Microsoft, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox Live, the Xbox logos, and the Xbox Live logo are either registered trademarks ...

i came across a few forums where people were saying RE5 was going to be a ps3 exclussive, but Gamespot still shows it for both the ps3 and 360
ps3's Resident Evil 5 page just under "releaste date" says also on 360, and if you go to the 360s page for RE5, it says the samething, but instead of 360 it says ps3.

Well think of it this way resident evil was never on xbox (right? I hope i'm right on that) so It may not change and onl be for ps3. But resident evil 4 was on the gamecube and thats nintendo so I wouldent be suprised if they made it for wii as well. But I'm not sure if the nintendo wii can suport resident evil 5 graphics wise and everything like that.
EDIT: Actually I think it's still unofficial because I checked both the official capcom site and the official resident evil(s) site and found nothing about the game. All what it had was things on the older and already released resident evil(s).

Oh my, the demo of dead rising IS amazing. This is the reason people need a PS3 and 360. So far the demo blows RE4 out of the water. It is a must buy. If you don't have a 360, your missing out bigtime.

Uh no, RE4 was first and foremost a Gamecube game, then a port. And being that RE5 is coming out next year, I would hope it would be better but no one can make statements that is is gonna be better until we see something more than a trailer.
Can't wait for it though, I can pick which one I want since it will be coming out for PS2 and the 360 at the same time and I will have both consoles

I'll help you with that decition
PS3 version - better graphics.
No mention of it yet but there might be a possiblity that tilt function is incorperated into game play
360 version - lower price maybe

you cant possibly say its going to have better graphics on the ps3 and actualy know it. heck, the amount of games getting canceled for the ps3, you may not even see RE5 on ps3. as far as comparing dead rising with resident evil, it depends on what people enjoy. they are two different genres based on the same theme, surival and zombies

WTF that still makes it a ps2 game(and I know it was first for the ps2 I have resident evil 4 for my gamecube and ps2. And therefore it is not a fair comparision dead rising a 360 game to resident evil four a ps2 and gamecube game. As well it was not a direct port cause it has improved graphiics, more things are incluted etc.

how big is the demo? because i was gonna downlaod saints row,but it's 900mb,so it shall take me like 5 hours,what the heck am i supposed to do for 5 hours,i wish the net were faster,so anyways how big is it,i'd probably get it if it's less then 500mb

It is about 1 gig. Skater. Very big. What i do is leave demo's downloading over night while I sleep

The only game on that list that may hurt is Smackdown 07 but the rest is trash.
