A news article from a Florida Newspaper:per stollery
When Nathan Radlich's house was burgled, thieves left his TV, his VCR,
and even left his watch. What they did take was "generic white cardboard box filled with grayish-white powder." (That at least is the way the police
described it.) A spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale police said, "that it
looked similar to cocaine and they'd probably thought they'd hit the big
time."
Then Nathan stood in front of the TV cameras and pleaded with the
burglars:
"Please return the cremated remains of my sister, Gertrude. She died
three years ago."
Well, the next morning, the bullet-riddled corpse of a drug dealer
known as Hoochie Pevens was found on Nathan's doorstep. The cardboard box was there too; about half of Gertrude's ashes remained. And there was this note.
It said: "Hoochie sold us the bogus blow, so we wasted Hoochie.
Sorry we snorted your sister. No hard feelings. Have a nice day."

May 30th
Just moved to San Antonio from the Mid-West. Now this is a city that knows how to live!!! Beautiful sunny days, and warm balmy evenings. What a place!!! I watched the sunset laying on a blanket from a park on a balmy night. It was beautiful. I've finally found my home. I love it here.
June 14th
Really heating up here. It got up to 100 degrees today. Not a problem. Live in an air-conditioned home and drive an air-conditioned car. What a pleasure to see the sun everyday like this. I'm turning into a sun worshipper!!!
June 30th
Had the backyard landscaped with western plants today. Lots of cactus and rocks. What a breeze to maintain. No more lawn work or snow removal for me. Another scorcher today, but I love it here.
July 10th
The temperature hasn't been below 100 degrees all week. How the heck do people get used to this kind of heat? At least it's kind of windy though. But getting used to the heat and humidity is taking longer than I expected.
July 15th
Fell asleep at the pool (got 3rd degree burns over 60% of my body). Missed 3 days of work. What a dumb thing to do. I learned my lesson though. Got to respect the ol' sun in a climate like this.
July 20th
I didn't see Morgan (our cat) sneaking into the car when I left the house this morning. By the time I got to the hot car for lunch, Morgan had died and swollen up to the size of a shopping bag and stank up the $2,000 leather upholstery. I told the kids that the cat ran away. The car now smells like Kibbles and sh@ts. I learned my lesson though. No more pets in this heat.
July 25th
The wind sucks. It feels like a giant freaking blow dryer!!! And it's hot as hell. The home air-conditioner is on the fritz and the AC repairman charged $200 just to drive by and tell me he needed to order parts.
July 30th
Been sleeping outside by the pool for 3 nights now. $1,500 in damn house payments and we can't even go inside. Why did I ever come here?
Aug 4th
It's 115 degrees!!! Finally got the air-conditioner fixed today. It cost $500 and gets the temperature down to 85, but this freaking humidity makes the house feel like it's about 95. Stupid repairman. I hate this stupid city.
Aug 8th
If another wiseass cracks, "Hot enough for you today?" I'm going to strangle him. Damn heat. By the time I get to work the radiator is boiling over, my clothes are soaking wet, and I smell like baked cat!!!
Aug 9th
Tried to run some errands after work. Wore shorts, and sat on the black leather seats in the ol' car. I thought my ass was on fire. I lost 2 layers of flesh and all the hair on the back of my legs and ass. Now my car smells like burnt hair, fried ass, and baked cat.
Aug 10th
The weather report might as well be a damn recording. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny. It's been too hot to do anything for 2 damn months and the weatherman says it might really warm up next week. Doesn't it ever rain in this damn desert? Water rationing will be next, so my $1700 worth of cactus just might dry up and blow into the damn pool. Even the cactus can't live in this damn heat.
Aug. 14th
Welcome to HELL!!! Temperature got to a 115 today. Forgot to crack the window and blew the damn windshield out of the car. The installer came to fix it and said, "Hot enough for you today?" My wife had to spend the $1500 house payment to bail me out of jail. Freaking Texas. What kind of a sick demented idiot would want to live here? House for sale. Told realtor would take first offer. Am moving back to the upper mid-west. Will welcome dealing with the snow!

Jus family problems Rav, habing a bit of a hard few months, that why im always posting in these types of threads lol.
just dont get on with my stepdad, hes one of those who think that they can speak and do what the hell they like and ill still be nice and polite to him.
I hate to lose dignity too, thats the way i am and the way i will always be. Don't get me wrong though, Im not scared to apoligise, i like to keep the peace!
However, i wont "play the game" when hes f'ing and blinding at me and im suppose to say "please/thank you/yes of course/im very sorry".
He thinks he tells me to jump and i do it, i do have a mind. My friends think my whole families wierd cause im on total lockdown with times to be in and things like that.
i get on with my mum well, shes polite to me and im civil back to her and abide by her rules, i think its him who needs to learn to "play the game". I probably sound like a spoilt brat to the more aged and experiences around here, but i assure you its not that way.
@Ireland...that cheered my day up lmao!!!

aye, but i'm not standing for it any more, i've only got to take the crap while i'm still there, and if i play my cards right it might not be long at all. haven't been on PC hardly at all last few weeks hence why you haven't seen me on msn/skype etc. still having internet trouble but i just reset the wireless router when it crashes now, seems to work after for a while so i'm able to get online more now
