aabbccdd, the only reason these threads get closed is because you come along & shout everyone down. You appear incapable of having an argument without resorting to shouting and abuse, you never make an intelligent comment, you never come back with any decent answers to peoples' valid comments. All you do is jump up & down like a spoiled brat.
billybob, you have no reason to argue with me, I made a comment about a thread, that had nothing to do with you & you insulted me, for no reason! Now who needs to grow up. unless you can make a valid comment, don't. You started on me, not the other way round. As for the altercation you had with guyrus, you apologised to him in his shoutbox. Now you want to rake it all up again, what the hell?
Once again a thread has turned to s**t, thanks for that aabbccdd. Your inabilty to discuss politics in an adult manner has ruined yet another thread. I cannot believe that an American has such a narrow minded view of the world & its' problems, your attitude is why the world is turning against America. You accuse anyone who questions policy as being a "wishy washy liberal".
Answer me this, why are people not allowed to challenge what the American administration does? Is America not a democracy? Are you not allowed to ask questions, what are you so scared about?

ye must agree with ireland that's the way i do it on a small forum i'm a mod on. the trouble with AD is it's such a big site it is easier to delete the whole thread. i dare say the mods are stretched to the limit as it is

Hi,
Can this be resolved without getting the mods involved? Recently we lost some highly respected addicts and we don't need to lose anymore. Lets agree to disagree and move on as not to get into big nasty flamewar. Though this is the safety valve everyone should know that everyone who reads this might not be fully aware of the forum rules and jump in further inciting the bickering. Just my two cents.

This is a perfect example of why we need a hidden forum (invites only), a regular members forum it you will. It is hidden from the rest of the forum and only accessible via invite...access can be revoked if you don't behave and play well with others.

I don't dislike you at all, that is way off the mark. In fact I admire your loyalty to your country. That is a rare commodity nowadays. If you don't like me, well, that's up to you. But I do not dislike you, not at all, nothing could be further from the truth.
Not liking the way you discuss politics is an entirely different matter, you don't have to dislike someone just because you don't like there political persuasion.
I won't fall out with you over political disagreements, that is plain stupid. I know underneath all the bravado you are a good person, we just disagree on certain subjects, that's all. I'm sure that we don't have to resort to silly "I won't respond to you, if you don't respond to me".
All I am asking is that you respect other peoples' opinons, plain & simple, if you can't do that, then perhaps you shouldn't respond, because we always end up here.

The smart thing to do would probably be to argue over IRC or somthing, not here, either that or just shut up and be friendly.
It's plain stupid seeing some of the most respected members's on the site bitching at each other, definatly not a good thing for new members to see..... :(

happens everytime politics is brought into the fourms it ends up like this and iam at falut also along with many others so whats the anwser.
1. leave politic out of aD
2.if you want to do poltics go to MSN or do it on a private site or(room)
3. do poltics in here and keep the termoil going between members all the time. until new members tune out or just dont sign up to aD anymore.
4. or doing nothing and let us arguue like a bunch of babys!!!! and make the site look stupid.
its up to us guys
