scOuser's way worked fine for me. I think the issue with the epg showing programs ahead of time is if the GMT off is carried out before the autoscan.
Set your time using GMT settings, save and exit then autoscan, quickly set time setting to GMT off and power unit off/on and that should do it............ at least for the 2007 model and thats for dublin nthell

I think that is an ex CMI area which Ch**us took over he will not get all channels as there is one or two tps missing. Look at the frequencies for Ch**us here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363 these are the same ones Fergusrb uses and he is from there. Each frequency will have to be added manually before you can do an autoscan.

Another method is to unplug the EV for a few seconds, then plug it back in. Immediately go to time settings, set time using GMT. When time is correct turn GMT off and press blue button to save and exit. If you are quick enough this will also work.

Thanks to all involved in the build of info here.
I have a few things to offer as a member here, but primerily I come from the satellite scene, as you may have guessed.

Sorry, just read my own post and do not want to sound ignorant to other members..
I do have something in particular in mind, this is why I have extended this invitation, you see, I am a moderator one of the biggest, if not THE biggest(Debateable, depending who you ask) forum for satellites in Europe.
Regards to all, and if I can help I will. :)

Vardus the problem may be the fact that some boxes have ST chipsets and others have Intel. There are two different methods for each chipset. Just check the tsop you will find it beside the larger chipset, it is smaller 48 pin chip it will have either ST or Intel wrote on the problem boxes.

Thanks Scouser,
Didn't get a chance to check chips,
I did see a figure 7 on a chip beside the pins on the problem boxes. What is the different method.I erase the chips first, then load the software?
