Hi,
No still nothing from tailor made circuits.Didn't know about the postal strike.I ordered mine on 27/10/07.
Got my Jtag but it doesn't work on all black boxes.Got some going but others I couldn't get going. Are there different Tsop files for different boxes.
Vardus the problem may be the fact that some boxes have ST chipsets and others have Intel. There are two different methods for each chipset. Just check the tsop you will find it beside the larger chipset, it is smaller 48 pin chip it will have either ST or Intel wrote on the problem boxes.
Thanks Scouser,
Didn't get a chance to check chips,
I did see a figure 7 on a chip beside the pins on the problem boxes. What is the different method.I erase the chips first, then load the software?
With your jtag did you get instructions for doing both Intel and ST tsops the Intel tsop needs to use jkeys whereas the ST can use SkyMax. You will find the tsop chip beside the reset micro switch.

Hi Debic still not out yet its called the Box-T (Starview), same as the new MMDS Eurovox called the Eurovox TX which will be coming to the market. There has even been a D Digital T box released today, seems they are all in the market now.

According to the link on the email i got, it says it works on mmds and only for Ireland. they're for sale and in stock on the web site. Just didn't know if they worked. They're on www.affordableshop.co.uk
if you want a look at them. Do you reckon this one will do it.

to add these freq's you need to
go to installation
green button for ch edit
red button add channel
enter freq and symbol rate 6875
press ok, then repeat these steps till all freqs added. when they're all in press exit and go back to first page of install menu. press the red button for auto scan. will do a scan an all the freqs entered and should hopefully give you 138 channels.
best of luck
