STAY AWAY FROM THIS DECRYPTION PROGRAM !!!!! I paid for it almost a year ago and it worked fine for awhile....and then BANG!!! It suddenly stopped working with 1ClickDVD Copy 5.

$39.00 bucks down the drain. I contacted their support site and they jerked me around for months! Try this, try that, well try this, blah, blah, blah....nothing worked......just a bunch of stalling crap.

I tried all of their updates....frustrating.....had to keep going back to DVD43 (a free program). I finally emailed Slysoft (AnyDVD) and told them that if they didn't fix their progam, I wanted a refund.
DEAD SILENCE! I gave them 7 days and kept reminding them. DEAD SILENCE...NO FIX....NO REFUND!

Please tell your friends, pass it on to other websites. If your tired of crappy programs that you pay good money for and get screwed over by people like SlySoft, get on the horn, hit them in the pocketbook. Let them know that we won't put up with this.

They have got to be making hundreds of thousands of dollars on their progams (if not millions) like the oil companies and the traders. We can't do much about the oil companies and the traders, BUT we can stick it to the other profiteers like SlySoft. Spread it around, don't be complacent. Put them out of business! Teach them a lesson they will never forget. We have the power...USE IT...!!!!!!!!

Been an avid AnyDVD user for two years now.
I havent had any problem using AnyDVD with DVD Shrink,
Clonedvd 2 and dvd-rb (dvd-rebuilder.)
I have NOT had a problem yet even with arcoss protected movies
and the like.
I would imagine that old outdated 'one click copy' was the problem.
Anydvd has and continues to be the leader in commercial dvd ripping.
I support them and there great products.

I gotta agree with Jizmak, I have had my AnyDVD for over two years and it works just great. They developers keep it current and bend over to adjust the program to work with as many third party programs as possible. If you are having a problem it lies in a conflict with 1Click which is geared for the Machinist.dll. I have found these programs do not always get along with AnyDVD. Just my two cents and this thread needs a teleport as it has nothing to do with ratDVD.

fedward, you may be on your own on this one. I am an AnyDVD user myself and have had nothing but great success with it. Many people here at AD use it quite often as well.

I just purchased AnyDVD and CloneDVD, and I'd have to agree that it isn't nearly as user friendly as 1ClickDVD. Also, I'd have to agree that SlySoft's support department really needs a makeover. I'm having serious problems getting CloneDVD to copy anything without kicking blank media back at me saying "Please insert blank media." It took about nine tries to finally get one copy of one of these DVDs, and then it keeps crashing my PC. I have plenty of memory (that's the number one response), and I'm really up in the air about whether or not this was a smart purchase.

Even i agree with these lads, AnyDVD always worked for me.
Why would you want to use crappy software like 1ClickDVDCopy 5 anyway?
Use CloneDVD or DVDDecrypter instead.

@ Edward lee : i take it you are using proper media *rather than cheap sh*t*, and that your burner has the latest firmware update and isn't slowly dying ?

Indeed, sounds like someone's using either staples or Memorex..
Or some other no name cheapo cr@p.
Stick with Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek or similar media.

don't you love how many people blame their problems on AnyDVD, especially with so much evidence to the contrary?

^^ That's not a very courteous response.

I emailed SlySoft. I use Verbatim disks (always have), and I've never encountered this problem with any other burn software, only AnyDVD and CloneDVD. That's why it's so frustrating. The software reads and rips fine. It just refuses to burn to no matter what disk I put in.

@EdwardLee....

not pointing a direct finger at you, but i'm also a very
happy user of both programs aswell.

many times it's like everyone else states...........
i think often more than not it has a LOT to do with
people's OS System, as well as operator error.

like arniebear said it's probably a conflick with another
program.you can have to many programs at one time, at
some point there has to be a problem..................

i think AnyDVD is about the best out there ..............
don't think there's any other program/updated as often as
AnyDvD.......................

gday.......................

Jumping aboard the AnyDVD bandwagon,
Never had a problem with the program, works great, no complaits here as well. However, I have never ever used DVD43 or 1clickcopydvd, so can't help you with a conflict.

He or she (fedward) is probably someone from Sony or another Media company just trying to convince us to stop using AnyDVD because it is too strong for them to stop.Anydvd and Ripit4Me are kick ass programs.

Hi, I would like to thank you all for your comments about AnyDVD. (I hope that none of you snuck in from SlySoft). To set some points straight: 1. AnyDVD wil not CRACK the encrypted DVDs. Nothing to do
with the media I'm using for burning. Never had a
problem with that.
2. 1 ClickDVD Copy 5 is the easiest, most user friendly
program I've ever used and they just updated it last
month and eliminated the CopyToDVD portion.
3. All my firmware is updated and my burner is fine,
otherwise I would not be able to burn ANYTHING.
4. I've been doing this for more than 2 years now, so I'm
not a novice. Maybe not as expert as some of you guys,
but I know what I'm doing.
5. SlySoft never addressed my inquiries directly and to
the point. Eiher stalling me or no answer. What's up
with that? And if they're so great why didn't they
"throw me a bone" and give me a refund or at least say,
"we're doing everything we can to see that our program
works with 1ClickDVDCopy 5". THEY DON'T GIVE A CRAP!!
6. The only decryption program that 1ClickDVD Copy 5
suggests is, DVD43 and IT IS FREE!!! THINK ABOUT IT!
7. SlySoft tries to push other copy programs that COST
MONEY!!! THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN!
8. Hmmm, could it be that they're affiliated with these
other programs and that's why they were trying to push
me off on them? THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN!
9. Why did AnyDVD work perfectly with 1ClickDVD Copy 5 for
about a year and then "take a dump"? Remember, SlySoft
kept updating and updating and updating, etc., etc.,
etc. THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN!
10. Remember, I'm talking about decryption, not burning.
11. SlySoft would not answer me when I point blank asked
them if they had some kind of falling out with
1ClickDVD Copy 5. DEAD SILENCE!!! WHAT'S UP WITH
THAT, DO THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE??????
12. They jerked me around for months...that's bull____!

So anyway, I'm glad that those of you who use the other copy programs
that SlySoft ENDORSES are having great success. What's going to happen when they stop endorsing those programs? Enjoy while you can.

Don't get me wrong, I sincerely appreciate all of your comments. Yeah
I'm pissed, but I'm also trying to save someone else some grief.

Oh, by the way, P.S. to cinyrob and poolpro:

I'm not using DVD43 and AnyDVD together, (Iknow that they conflict).
HMMMM, A FREE PROGRAM CONFICTS WITH A PAID FOR PROGRAM, THINK ABOUT IT
AGAIN. WHO'S PLAYING GAMES HERE????

And poolpro, you're "barking up the wrong tree". More likely SlySoft is the culprit here. Sony and the others don't work that way, they put hidden crap in their DVDs to screw you up. THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Anyway, thanks again for the input.

@fedward,
nobody is trying to give you a hard time, just suggesting that you have another conflict somewhere is your system, it is very common for two programs which do similar functions to conflict with each other due to the fact they are trying to get exclusive access to certain resources. Do you remember the days of windows 3.1 and DOS?
Sometimes just reinstalling windows will clear up conflicts, why? I don't know, just seems to work.

@blivetNC, thanks, I was not inferring that anyone was trying to give
me a hard time, I appreciate all of the comments. Why didn't SlySoft suggest what you suggested? You really have to look at the big picture here and think about how the system works. IT'S ALL MONEY, MONEY, MONEY! I don't know if you saw my response and my P.S.? Thanks, but no thanks, I don't intend to uninstall and reinstall Windows, (that's kind of like killing a fly with a nuclear weapon, when bug spray will do). SlySoft should have been able to fix the problem, (unless they have ulterior motives, i.e. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, DO YA THINK)? Remember, 1ClickCopyTo DVD 5 only endorses a FREE decrypting program, while SlySoft endorses PAID FOR copying programs. THINK ABOUT IT! By the way, I did uninstall and reinstall both programs several times, restart and all of that. Why does the FREE DVD43 STILL WORK? WHY DOESN'T SlySoft? I'm beginning to think that the "Sly" in SlySoft is there for a reason.

Best rgd's and thanks for trying to help.

Me thinks FEDWARD is a reincarnation of the recently deceased ROBSPACEDOUT1.

Seems to have a 1ClickDVDCOPY5 monkey on his back! LMFAO

Absolutely nothing wrong with AnyDVD

fedward, I have no problem paying with anything so long as it works, and I'd imagine you probably don't either in the long run. As to paying for additional products that I don't need, I just don't buy 'em. Every software has its internet "apologists." If all they can muster is calling someone else an "idiot" for not agreeing with them, then that really isn't much support, and I wouldn't listen.

I received an email asking a serious of 20 questions from SlySoft. I've replied to that, and I'll see what they say.

I have nothing but praise for AnyDVD, even still works with my now defunct DvdXCopy, which I and many members paid up to "$150" for.

I KNOW AnyDVD works with CloneDVD, it was designed to.

Please tell me why you believe that it's Slysoft's job to make sure it works with every program out there? It should be the other way around. 1ClickDVD Copy 5, as arniebear indicated uses the Machinist.dll. Let 1ClickDVD Copy 5 come up with their own decrypter, and gripe to them. Why did you choose AnyDVD? If you hadn't noticed, the recommendation at AD is AnyDvd/CloneDvd combination, certainly not AnyDVD/1ClickDvd! By the way, is this the same company that you have to pay EVERY year to use their program? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Edward lee, again, are you using the latest firmware for that burner ?
Is it an older model perhaps?
Are you running any other software in the background ?
There could be numerous causes to your problem.

Most burners nowadays come with OEM Nero. InCD, which is included in the software is a known conflict with many programs.

fedward you are barking up the wrong tree I have been doing DVD's for 3 to 4 years and have been a member here for atleast that long. You are the first one to post about how crappy AnyDVD is and I know thier is probably a million pepole that use it so come on. Just because you cant figure it out you jump to the conclusion it is AnyDVD problem. Try opening your mind and look for the real problem. You yourself said you have been doing this for 2 yrs with no problem so you know it works take advice from others that are more tech savy than you. I agree with arniebear this program has conflists with AnyDVD because of the Machinist.dll file. search the net and get dvdshrink I have used this with AnyDVD never fails and it is free.Or try dvd decryptor its free.
Do you not understand what slysoft does just to get around all the tricks of these big companys. I laugh ever time one of these big guns come out with new method to prevent copying because I know slysoft will crack it within days. What makes you think slysoft has to make there software work with all programs does Ferrari make motors to fit into Fords come on man.
