Lite-On SHW-160p6s & AnyDVD

I just got a new lite-on Dvd drive to go with my Plextor so i can put a blank dvd in the Plextor and read from the Lite-on. But if i have AnyDVD running and use DVD Shrink i get an error that says "dvd shrink encounterd an error and cannot continue Failed to readfile "D:\" Copy protection error the read failed because the sector is encrypted. Now if I read from the Plextor, no problem! If i turn off AnyDVD it works also!!!! Seems like there is an issue with the Lite-On drive??? Tried un-installing and re-installing, and playing with the region settings. Saw another post with a like problem. I was able to update my firmware. Any clues before i try a return (it did not work for the other guy)

I have the same drive but don't have that problem.

Check the drive settings in AnyDVD. Settings>drive>selection. Are both checked?
AnyDVD is showing an 'enabled'?

Yep both are checked. AnyDVD is disabled for the drive that has the blank dvd. If AnyDVD is enabled it throws up the error but only when reading from the Lite_On drive. As we speak I am copying from the Lite-On to the Plextor, no problem. Anymore thoughts? Anyone? eyeing up the new 18x Plextor if I cant get this to work.And I like Lite-On!
