Haha, it's a one man clan now lol. Go the Chev - I love Ls1 as well Pressed ;). Check out the SS wagon in my Pics... Sony may experience some serious piracy if an easy way of burning BLu Ray is discovered. No one really wants to buy a game for $120 bucks (Aud) do they?

Now as for his grand prediction, let me tell the Japanese wiseguy something. PC's have more expandability than a closed-architecture gaming system does. PC's also have keyboards & mice, which PS2 has failed to take advantage of. A very complex MMORPG just doesn't feel the same on a PS2 vs. a PC or an Xbox/Xbox360. There is something special about a PC that gives it an edge technology-wise over a videogame system. PCs have been around for gaming since the earliest days. They will not die off because of a videogame system. I'm a PS2 owner & fanboy but I just have to say....
"PS3 ain't all that!"

price is really important but if ps3 delivers the quality, then it will no doubt sell a great deal.
another thing is that ps3 is the only console which ppl are dying to play, unlike 360 or Wii which ppl are interested in buying. i think ppl are expecting sumthing revolutionary from ps3 and if it manages to do that ppl will defo buy ps3.
but this is all guesswork, the picture will become clear after 17th november, the date on which ps3 will be released.

true but the thing is i just saw untold legends for ps3 on ign and to be honest xbox 360 launch games looked way, way better, like kameo, pgr 3, and pdz. it just felt like that game was running on a ps2. nd if before someone saya, taht the game was initially meant for ps2, well that may be true but kameo was also meant for xbox.
but i supose they stil have a lot of time till the launch o the consoe with the game but what i am saying is that there are games that are games like lost plannet which looks amazing, and is not even releasing til 2007 so..

Heavy Rain might be coming to 360, in an interview he said it would be out early 2008 on next-gen consoles
The launch games on the 360 where good, but I dont think PDZ was very next-gen, it was just a typical shooter but 'shiny'.

nooooooooooo pdz was the most overrated game!!!!!!!!!! i was so mad cause i loved this for the n64 but it was BAD i think they had to rush the game to next gen cause they wanted it to be the killer game but i think they should have waited till atleast febuary.

Its ridiclous claims and statements like that by stupid sony execs that stir up all the controversy and fanboy talk.Now clearly the sony execs arent literally stupid im just pointing out that they make incredibly bogus statements.I mean do you see people pondering the idea of purchasing a ps3 to start a home based business,or plan working from home with their ps3? exactly of course they arent.The ps3 has a browser and thats about its only comparison to a PC's functionality.But for some frickin reason this thread is still open because its in one of the ten commandments or something.My thread stated xbox 360 is the leading supercomputer in the universe and while i know that is completely insane it shares one thing in common with this thread they are both bullsh!t nonetheless this one remains open but hey what can ya do.

it was not overated, if it was overated people would have been saying its better than halo 3, its the best graphics ever its even better thasn killzone graphics, but instead people said it was rushed, crap and not that good at all. what i am trying to say is that a game that is coming out on the ps3 a year after pdz was released is looking worse.

How can ANYONE say that the Ps3 will eliminate the pc gamer. Lets face reality here with the fact that to start with the computer is capable of produceing graphics that ANY console will never be able to match simply because we have only scratch the surface on the computers internal functions and the advancements in its technoligy with so many people working on its systems and core functions that its a given that the speed and internal operations is going to keep improving through the years as well as the simplicity of the fact that once you're through playing your game you can go right into doing your homework, browsing, work, or whatever else you use your computer for. On top of all this as well im sure sure we would all agree that there will NEVER be and end to the people that are into creating different mods for computer games which although I don't do myself im sure its a damn site easier to do than making one for a console as there would be a hassle to apply it. Anyway thats my opion for what its worth not that the outcome will be changed by it one bit.
