I have the latest version of AnyDVD 6.0.6.3. I noticed in the earlier posts all the info from AnyDVD. Look at my copy. What the heck is ALPHA-DVD copy protection. Never heard of it before. By the way, AnyDVD broke this, no problem. Encoded with shrink and burned with imgburn,main movie only,no problems.
UK Region 2 PAL version of this dvd has proved the most awkward dvd to rip so far (even worse than Madagascar). I use only free software and so far DvdFabDecrypter has handled everything I have thrown at it then run thru VobBlanker, Shrink and burn with B's Gold. Even the latest version 3.0.2.0 will not rip this dvd properly - it appears to work but the chapters are all f**d up - starts playing on chapter 16 & 1-15 are blank! VobBlanker was no help even after fullscan. Thanks to you guys I have now downloaded Ripit4me & FixVTS and finally I have a perfect playable copy complete with all menus, extras and DTS sound!! For anyone having problems with the Region 2 PAL version of this dvd use Ripit4me with the king (DvdDecrypter) and FixVTS, then shrink & burn.
