I believe "JET LI's FEARLESS" (US, Region 1) has Macrovision's RipGuard protection. However, it shouldn't be hard to rip whatsoever. Again, as usual, DVDFab Decrypter ripped it through smoothly and the rest is history with DVD Shrink (or your desire engines).

If DVD Shrink is having troubles (i.e. DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue), then you'll need to post process the already ripped files through VobBlanker or FixVTS.

Best of luck!!

Here are 2 screenshots for reference in regards to FEARLESS (US, Region 1). Yep, DVDFab Decrypter ripped it through successfully within roughly 12 minutes (yes... FULL DISC Mode). One of the best, perhaps the greatest MA flick from Jet Li.

Thanks, will try again.
Anyone have any ideas as to why Roxio 9 still sees the ripped files as still copy protected? Other disks, no trouble.
Just re-installed Nero 7 and found a way to get the 7.5.9.0 update.
This whole thing gets more interesting. Sure glad you guys use the forum as a brain pool. Great help. Regards Tejas

just to let everyone know what i did for descent was, i ripped it to my hd with AnyDVD, then i opened the disk and copied the files that were missing and/or a different size. then i ran it through VobBlanker just to be safe, and after that i had a perfect copy of descent.

With the newest Any Dvd on in the background. I used DVD Decrypter, and then burned (used 1ClickDvd) the movie. Just the movie, no extras. No, problems.

Was having problems with VobBlanker and DVDFab, I need to research it, may not have the newest ones.

Got my backup. Full DVD. Extras and all! Ripped with DVDFab Decrypter then ran it thru VobBlanker. Shrunk using Nero Recode and then burned with Nero Burning ROM to make an excellent copy.

This will sound stupid, but doesn't dvdfab basically remove all the protection just fine and then burn with Nero Recode? It works for me most of the time. My question would be, what would VobBlanker do to benefit your outcome of the copy? I've never used VOB before so am I missing out on a better process?

guys, i used dvdfab 3.0.5.5 to rip the entire movie to my hd. Next, i used DVD Shrink to shrink down. Finally i burned with imgburn and got a good copy with no lionsgate loop. Try this method and see if it works for you.

I used DVDFab Decrypter 3.0.5.5, VobBlanker 2130b4, and DVDShrink\Nero. I got a file reallocation error when it tried to burn.

I'm going to try what etan1085 said - Rip with dvdfab, shrink with DVD Shrink, and burn with imgburn.

I always copy the whole movie onto the hard drive, but for burning to DVD, I only ever do the main movie... That's all I care about. And with this movie, I had a bit of a hard time at first.

Whole movie to HD went smooth with the most recent DVD Fab Decrypter. Tried to burn the main movie to DVD and wasn't so successful... So I took the whole HD rip and reauthored it through DVD Shrink and voila! Main movie on DVD in 99.5% original quality! You could have 100% original quality if you choose anything other 5.1 sound though in DVD Shrink.
