To top it off, it seems that a lot of your region 2 movies have had less encrytion to them. So if you are not going to, I will hate regions for you. :P

TBH that depends on the source.. The rental disks here can be a nightmare.

I'm lucky I get a lot of R1-R5 disks to rip. Those are usually easier than the R2 ones..

The last batch of new releases seem to show a trend to giving up on everything but the standard methods.. have we won, or are they going to have another go with the piracy angle after making it so easy for us? I don't know.. but it is nice to have easy disks to rip for now.

Disney R1 arriving monday.. will report ;)

Got my region 4 copy of the movie yesterday. What i found interesting was that the first disc was labelled as Iron Man AU. The second disc is labelled as Iron Man Disc2 Europe.

DvdFab 5.0.2 worked for me!

I only use more programs if the title calls for it (eg: a Disney dvd). Typically it's just a case of DvdFab...... then dvdshrink to burn to blank dvd. But i've had to use 3 or more programs (mainly dvdfab, vobblanker & dvdshrink) in the past for Disney titles and Transformers awhile ago.
