Before you install it you have to erase all corrupted data from your mem card. Also you have to hold the triangle button on start up to boot it up. Youknow, dev. mode.

Just joined, have enjoyed reading everyone. Very interesting, have learned much already. Got my HDLoader yesterday, works great so far. My PS2 is an old one, not moded. I like the HDLoader so much I've ordered the HDLoader w/120 maxtor HD for my other PS2. It was a hard dicision to make because I actually need more hard drive for this Dell I'm on now.Its only got about 4 gig left on the 20 that came with it. So, a question for those that know.....would it be possible to use the sony hd that came with FF on it in my Dell as a 2nd hd? It's supposed to be 40 gig, is it not? Would that rascal fit, do you think?

A new hard drive for my ps2, and a used one for my pc......I know what's important and what's not, don't I?
Priorities? We don't need no stinkin' priorities.

If I can figure out how to put it in, I should be able to figure out how to re-format it, too.
Then again, maybe not.

Ok im a total noob at this hdloader stuff. But i have some pretty good questions that might help a lot of people.
Ok here it goes. So i get my harddrive/network adapter/hd loader. Can i just hook the hd up to my computer, put some ps2 games onto the hd, then hook up the hd to my network adapter and play the games? Btw, i dont have a modchip. And if i did get a modchip, then could i do it?
I also dont have a dvdburner. If the above method doesnt work, can i rent a ps2 game, install it to the hd through hd loader, and have the game run w/o a mod chip?
Any help would be most appreciated,

I have a concern that my 120GB Maxtor Hard Drive might eventually crash if not sooner.
Is there a way to back up this whole drive by say internally connecting it to a PC?
The reason for my question is because I believe that this hard drive is formatted differently and a PC with Windows XP might not recognize this drive.
Any suggestions on a method to back up would be helpful. Thanks!

You wouldn't be able to copy through windows, if that is what you had planned, because the drive is nor formatted with a file system that Windows can recognize.
I think your only option is to use a direct copy tool, such as Norton Ghost (what I use), to copy the contents to another drive.

ok here is the deal ,he told me he can fix my ps2 v7 just send it 2 him ok, i wait a week he e-mail me back saying it was done that 2 send the money paypal so i send him the money he said he got the money and he will send it out on monday now three weeks later i keep e-mail him and nothing no answer or anything his e-mail is sales@gamephoenix.com and he has a legit website is http://gamephoenix.com/ do not do any buying or trading 2 him untill i get this work out just warning you guys

First off I would like to say sorry. My internet has been down for almost 2 weeks (never use DSL!!) and all this has just been brought to my attention. I sent your systems weeks ago and you should have had it long ago. I will check up with UPS to see where it is and who signed for it. If I cannot recover your system if it is indeed lost I will replace the system with a DMS3 or Matrix Infinity chipped system, your choice of course. I will let you know within the next 24 hrs what the deal is. Once again I am sorry for the lack of communication.

Bhajo, do you have the original or cracked version of hd loader (i think that only works with the cracked version).
