I've tryed evertyhing on this whole topic, and non of all these links work!!
Luckely I've got a friend who has found the program and is downloading it for me, and he will send it to me.
But do you really need a USB-Cable from the phone-shop? Or could you juse one from you camera? Because if I plug it in, my computer sais he has found my Motorola V220, than my computer starts a wizard. I've directed the wizard to the p2k and he said it worked, but now I really don't how I need to go furder.
I really need some help!! I'm on this for more that 3 days, and it's driving me insane!!! =S

No, you don't have to have any "special Phone cable".
the one from your camera will work just fine.
the phones just usb 1.1 compatable using the mini sony i-link jack.

Yes, I've noticed it!
After I had posted the post up here, I got the programm, and everything works just fine.
But it was a hell of a job to find the program.

Sory it's so hard to find.
I had to get it off of lime wire, I wish somebody would start up a torrent for it. I would but i don't have that kinda bandwidth.

Okay, enough bashing and questioning. GEM20 has been supportive and informative to this thread for way to long. I will personally feel that anyone questioning him during this period of site lose should be blocked. GEM will be back up and running when issues are resolved. Can't wait?, don't be cheap, but the program! Thank you GEM for all of you valuable contibutions to this link. Those of you coming in late, please read prior thread up to this point before asking how.

Because I want to make sure I have the right stuff. The software I downloaded sounded the same as the recommended stuff on here, but I still want to be sure I'm doing the right thing. Then I can worry about other problems.
And rabbit44, the update option didn't help, so it's gotta be something else. Thanks anyway.

HELP!!!! I am not getting anywhere at all with these links! Is it possible for someone who has some web space open to the CORRECT working software up? I have beaten a flat spot on my head from all this NO-WORKing links.... This is a new phone for me my old one crapped out and ATT (Cingular) sent this as a replacement... I like it and want to use it to it fullest but this is getting to be really a pain. PLEASE PM ME with good links or post them here...PLEASE.... did I meantion PLEASE =)

3. have you considered spending the $30.00 to buy it legaly?

you want version 3 but 2.1 should work for you as long as the update option functions right.
it's about 24MB for just the english installer.
that doesn't include any extras though.

Hi,
Sorry i haven't been around for a while but my broadband has been playing up for the past 2 weeks and i haven't even been able to connect to the internet or receive emails.
I have finally tried it tonight and it has worked, surprisingly!
I think it was something to do with the fact that we are right on the edge of our broadband area so it does tend to go dodgy every once in a while.
Hence, i have not been able to get the links sorted.
So, it will be down for a while longer.
By the way, Habibi, thanks for the support early in the thread. But, believe it or not I am of the female species and just finding out I am preganant sort of confirms this!
Anyway, thanks for the kind words.
Hope i can post some good news about the thread soon.
