has anyone had any problems since the latest update? my computer will lock up when shrink goes to write the dvd. i've never had this happen before.

I downloaded the latest update and started to burn Ice Age 2 and my computer did the lock down mode as well. I might go back to restore point but this is the first time it has happen. I am getting the error messages PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and page_fault_in_nonpaged area and with this error message 0x00004E. Can anyone help else???

Had this problem as well last night after update. BSOD had me panties in a bunch. I didnt do anything beside give it a hard shutdown/ restart, then run CCleaner and restart again. It worked after that although it sounds like my steps didnt have much to do with it if its this widespread.
I admit I was lazy and didnt un-install old version, just install over it (yeah, wolves rip me now, but it worked before I knew any better, so I got in the habit).
Maybe people that uninstalled first didnt have the same problem?!?

I don't usually uninstall previous versions until I know the latest works...probably have about 4 or 5 on HDD right now, so I'll always have something to fall back on if something goes wrong. Good information though.

@sstoneho Try not combining two decrypting softwares like SHRINK & AnyDVD. Like you referenced, "You've never had a problem before" but combining decrypting software with AnyDVD has been and is error waiting to happen (with a few acceptions in my experience). SHRINK is a good freeware but is limited and in most cases is no match for the most current encryptions (Arccos or RipGuard). Try your recently updated AnyDVD all by it's lonesome accompanied by a non decrypting burning software like Nero 6 or 7 Recode2.:P

I disable AnyDVD, used dvdfab and reuse shrink then burn it is alot but I was tired of restarts. anyone know what to do with the previous error messages. where do you find earlier AnyDVD files. usually I just add over it. thanks. happy thanksgiving

I did a system restore back two days and everything seems to be working fine now. there is bug in the update. i would say wait till it's fixed before downloading the update.

I ran into the same type of problem, but my system was shutting down at will. And other forums suggest this is not an isolated incident. I contacted Slysoft and they are "looking" into it. Which is probably safe to say a new update is just around the corner that will fix this.
