I am new here but not new to the whole ripping game.
(Un)fortunately, I have finally admitted defeat regarding DVDxCOPY so was looking into some recommendations here (great site, btw!). I have dl'd DVDShrink but am running Roxio dvd burning software and was not able to find a way to "easily"(keyword here...)burn the stored files to DVD using Roxio after it ripped my movie then realized that Nero would have been better as i remember a link in the DVD Shrink program.
So..I am DL'ing Nero currently and it is taking FOREVER..so...I was looking into other programs such as AnyDVD etc.. and wondered, does it need the DVD CLONE burner software or will it work with Roxio or other burning programs?

AnyDVD will work with most programs around.
Give it a whirl (21 day trial period gives you full functions too).
As well as CloneDVD2, I have used DVDShrink & Nero personally.

I like DVDDecrypter(free) w/ AnyDVD 6.1.0.2 running to rip.
From there you can use what you want to burn.
You don't need AnyDVD after you rip to hard drive.
I use Clone2 & Nero Recode to burn.
I will let soneone else discuss the free burning programs.

Thanks for the responses but now I am kind of confused. Why does everyone keep mentioning 3 different programs for one burn?
Don't I just need a ripper/decrypter program and a burn program?
Doesnt AnyDVD together with Nero or CloneDVD work to get he job done or am I just misunderstanding? I did pick this week to give up coffee, after all...lol
..also, where can I find DVDDecrypter? I notice it does not become a hotlink everytime it is written like Nero and CloneDVD but hear about it ALOT and was actually referred here with that program being why.
Please disregard my last post. I have checked some other helpful links on this page and found my answers and the software link mentioned in another related forum. Again, thanks so much to everyone who contributed answers. This place is like heaven for someone like me. :D
Search engine: type in DVDDecrypter & download it.
After you rip to HD, your movie is full size( not compressed)
You need a program to compress movie to fit on a single layer disk
unless you are going to use a dual layer disk.
Nero recode2 will compress & burn movie.
Clone2 will compress & burn movie.
These programs are not free. Clone2 has a free trial.
