as i just wrote on another thread, i did some experimenting with the PIF/CRC scan thing, but it's just too much extra time in my already limited free time. As long as i burn at decent speed on top quality media on a decent machine, that's it, sorted. I'm not one to go buying 100s of different makes of media just so i know about all the good and bad types, i got websites such as this to learn/verify all that from. My limited money/time are not what they could be so i'll leave all the indepth stuff to ppl who have those luxuries. As long as i know enough to give ppl good info then i'm happy enough

How about codes for TY CD-R? Just recieved shippment of 2400 TY CD silver inkjet printable. Surface smudges. Need to know if these are real. Code on center is: 9C574CO541880. The printable surface smudges easily with fingers, prints okay and the recording side is not very slick compared to other media brands. Any help with codes. The 4 boxes of 600 CD'S have small print TAIYO Yunden CO., LTD. on it. Just a white sticker that gives the following code: CD80SPY100SB10-ZM
