people have to suply their chips to me since i dont order them, i usually installed them for friends.
secondly, i have used crap media on my ps2 since i got it back in 2001, and its still going strong. besides verbatim i use Ritek Ridata 8x DVD+R(Ritek R03) and their error rate is really low.
Im justtelling you guys that thats how much i charge for install since i believe that $35-$50 is too much for something thats takes a half our to put in a system. I have done over 150 installs and no complaints so far so dont go sayin im not reputable buddy. People love how fast i do it for them. lets say they send me a ps2 on monday, i will get i back to them by thursday or friday.
even if Magic chips are outdated they still work good! just to bios thats all. they boot everything i throw at them. I've had my MagicV for 4 years and its very good.

Well if someone chooses you over proven modders, it's buyer beware. I call it like I see it. I'd sooner let Spedmetal and Netmech have at it than you. They've proven they can do quality work. How do you explain only charging $10 for installs? Do you have some references? Where do you get your chips? Why do you only stock outdated chips, and not newer ones like the DMS 4 Pro SE and CC 1.1? What do you mean you aren't sure which kind of MI you have? Matrix makes the legit MI, noone else. You really didn't answer any of the questions I posed before, if anything, you raised new ones.

i told you Tokijin(lose your sword seshomoru?).....i dont supply the chips, the buyer must supply their own. thats why its so cheap. i do installs of newer chips but only if you tell me ahead of time so i can get out the diagrams for the installation. besides you didnt ask any questions earlier. List em and i will answer. and when it comes to people i have done installs for, they live in my home state of milwaukee, wi. The part of my website that has the modding service is down but if you want the link i can put it up anyway. most of the people i/ve done installs for are my friends, their friends, or their friends friends.
again the install is so cheap since i dont supply chips. the only ones i got is those clone MI chips, tey work like the Magics. so if let say someone wanted a MI the total would be $30-$50 bucks in the end(with everything included).
install= $10
shipping= $20-$40(depends on method of shipping and were you live)
chip= $10-$70 (MI is my standard install, ranges on type of chip)
buyer pays for shipping. and my modding service is totally independant.

So people have to get the chip themselves, send it through the mail, and you still don't have any real references? You didn't exactly mention you had MI clone chips up front. Anyway this could continue forever, so if people choose to send someone their PS2 who was zero references we can verify, get the chip themselves, risk it getting lost or damaged in the mail, and count on you being able to install a chip you're not familiar with, all for about the same price of modders who have ten times as many installs and verifiable references, I certainly won't stop them.

lol!
Anybody who's interested in modding your own console why don't you just do it yourself its a hell of alot easier than it looks.
Also why pay someone that you don't know $30 (£18) for postage and install plus on top of that your buying modchip also.
Wouldn't it make more sense to buy your own modchip, a full English breakfast (Yummmm!) and a pack of TY's.
And I'm sorry but £6 ($10) for a decent modchip I don't think so.
Why else would he first;
a) Say that his links down to his supposed refrences,
b) Advertise such cheap modchips as if to say please buy a better modchip for me so I can now own a new PS2 and a 'real' Matrix infinity.
c) Would you really trust someone who clearly doesn't know there media yet alone someone you don't know with your PS2?
PS How did a thread to help prevent modchip scam sites turn into scammers galore! lol

Modchip.com sent the stuff. Arrived from Morocco. No instructions, but they were easy enough to find.
I ordered Breaker Pro + Swap Magic + Slimline Fliptop.
So I guess that's good for me. Too bad Coder just came out. :(

Breaker pro, swap magic 3.6 and fliptop is what I use for my PS2 and I havn't had any problems. (To me the coder one is probably not a good idea to get yet as there isn't many reviews on it yet).
Also it's good practise to start with swap magic and fliptop (can't go wrong) as after I installed the fliptop it influence med to start a lil project with my XBOX and an Excecutor 2.6ce which turned out a complete success.
Also on topic I ordered my Excecutor 2.6ce from Divineo.co.uk and within 3 days product had arrived safely and working.
Next up's my lil' ol' Gamecube :)
