By the way, can I play stored mp3 from hdd with media player?
Also, converting mdf, mds, bin, cue & daa files to iso should be fine eh? or I can keep it the way they are and hdloader will still recognize it?
I converted some games into iso and they went from 600mb mdf to 80mb in iso format. So kinda wondered if it might come up as corrupted or something?
Swap magic won't hurt your laser any more than using cogswap, or using a slide tool and possibly damaging your ps2. That is why I recommend a fliptop down the road.
I do know hdloader accepts bin, cue, ISO
I personally have not tried mdf files. The best way I would convert is to get Daemon Tools or some mounting software and mount the .mdf file,
then use Imgburn to read it too an ISO file.
Then load it with WinHiip
You can store videos and mp3 on your IDE hdd or a USB hdd, as you said you had one, using the SMS player.
Just look at the tutorial and scroll down that section.
