I am hoping this is an easy fix. My dvd burner had worked perfectly before the slysoft updates. My burner will read my originall dvd but when it ask for me to insert recordable media it will not recognize the media. When I open my computer the drive is no longer listed as "DVD RW" but is listed as a "cd rom". In order to finish I have to leave clonedvd2 running while I uninstall the drive then re-install the drive. What am I doing wrong. I have already wiped all slysoft programs off and reloaded.
I am fairly concerned about AnyDVD and Clone changing drivers, not only that but installing the wrong drivers. I really like anyDVD, but if this keeps up I am going to use DVDfab exclusively...I know that most of the software's used for burning change drivers in one way or another, but this is kind of ridiculous....kind of like they didn't bother to test the software before releasing it. Just my thoughts on the matter.
D
ive had this same thing happen to me about 4 updates ago for anydvd. all i did was uninstall anydvd completely then run ccleaner to clean out the registry then reinstalled anydvd(the newest update) and everything was fine.
here is a link to ccleaner if yo dont have it... it is a safe and easy little program that helps out alot...
