Man , are you smoking something?? Real Madrid was founded in 1902 and since then it has won all of these:

Copa Intercontinental: 1960, 1998, 2002

Copa de Europa Champions' League: 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1966, 1998, 2000, 2002

Copa de la UEFA: 1985, 1986

Supercopa de Europa: 2002

Campeonato Nacional de Liga: 1932, 1933, 1954, 1955, 1957, 1958, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1972, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1995, 1997, 2001, 2003

Copa del Rey: 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1917, 1934, 1936, 1946, 1947, 1962, 1970, 1974, 1975, 1980, 1982, 1989, 1993

So i ask again, are you on drugs lol. they have been winning major trophies since 2 years after their formation! Chelsea dont have the history or stature, or world wide fan base to enable them to become a club like the great three mentioned previously. They would be doing well to even compete with clubs like FC Porto and Real Betis on a world stage. Even River Plate would have a far larger fan base! Does someone disagree?? Bring it on......:D

I reckon Chelsea will grow big fast. At the moment I would put them on par with Arsenal and Man Utd. All this balony about the team needing to gel, with superstars like Crespo and Veron who have already played together in the past. Lampard and Cole who again played together. Chelsea are there!

When Chelsea drew with Blackburn, everyone criticised them and said they weren't ready, then Man Utd went and lost to Southampton.

Spending over £100 million will make a huge difference, remember when Lazio spent £80 million in one season, look what it did for them.

What happens if Man Utd or Arsenal get 4 key players injured? Anything can happen this season. With Romans 'spend spend spend' philosophy and Arsenal/Man Utd's 'save, save, save' the teams could look very different in no time at all.

Im not worrying yet on Man Utd coming below Chelsea in the league. Ir eally cant see it happening. If the club starts to lose its way - Peter Kenyan will quickly tell BSKYB to splash out a hundred million on making the team stronger. Its not a problem. Thats why it is better to be owned by a multi billion dollar company than a billionaire by assets!

Blackburn definately have potential. Andy Cole is firing them in like there's no tomorrow and soon they will have Dino Baggio strengthning up their midfield with bags of experience.

They also have experienced loan defender in Babbel, who incidently may play for them against his own team Liverpool, in a weird twist of the premier league rules.

Only thing they truly lack is youth.

They do lack youth and one other vital ingredient: Damien Duff. Dino Baggio is a quality palyer, he should strengthen their possession and control.

Ireland match is today - if someone wants to post when the England match is and on what skysports channel (UK time), id greatly appreciate it.

lol - i agree with those sentiments Dela :D

Arsenal's finances are improving, no doubt about it, but they are still in £45 million of debt. Considering Man Utd on average make around £40million Net profit each year (based on last 3 years which is also more than all of the big American Basketball and NFL teams), i think their position is still a very strong one. Another thing that i am sure about is the fact that United will always remain one of the big 3, along with Barcelona and of course Real Madrid. I dont forsee that changing anytime in the next millenium

On the Peter Kenyan point, I really feel very let down by someone who was supposed to have our clubs best interests at heart. How long has this move been in the pipeline?? How has it affected his most recent decisions?? I would work for United for free, so would any real fan. I love the club and no matter how much money was waved in my face, it wouldnt matter. I think it comes down to his own greed and lust for money.

All United needs now is the Russian Billionaire, who allegedly puts Roman Abromavich's wealth to shame (we're talking 5 times richer or something) to launch his hostile takeover of Man United. It was in the pipeline a while ago, but it never materialised. Lets see.....

you probly dont like me much anyway because i am a chelsea fan......LOL, But like u said oriphus its not all about money, its about the player you got and if they can play as a team. No matter if you got 100billion you cant win nothing if your players dont play together! To ME Man u, Real M...... are still the best clubs in the world, but chelsea just need some time now to show what they can! hopeful they can become as good as MAN U!

Chelsea need to market themselves better if they hope to become a team like Man Utd, with the help of Kenyon, that might be possible. On another note, Chelsea does not push a profit. infact, Chelsea made a big loss last year and only turned over £115 million compared to Uniteds £140 million.

Yeah Chelsea looked good today. Uniteds result was pretty good too, considering the injuries. Also, did anyone see the Real Madrid 7-2 thrashing today??

The first goal was an own goal by Cesar i think. Then Raul scored 2 amazing goals, both some of the best goals he has scored. Zidane then scored another one of his amazing volleys from well out. Then Figo scored a penalty. Ronaldo scored a cracker after Beckhams pass which was outstanding. Then Raul finished off his hatrick after salgado forced the keeper to save.

I cant remember who scored for Valladolid
I cant remember
