I use dvdx platinum, my sony dru510a reads 7.8gig dvd in 50mins & burns in 25 mins. perfect results everytime!!

Added Platinum Xpress support.
Added manual file open dialoge if the path to the file is not found.

Correct me if I am wrong, may have been mentioned in one of the replies (i read most but not all of them).
I have XCopy rip the DVD
When it prompts to insert blank DVD, I open explorer and move the temp\ folders for AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS to another folder.
Sure it already has the warning in a VOB, but its not linked yet, so I can burn the files using pretty much anything (use nero) and I can have the backup still on my computer w/o much fuss.

The warning IS linked and you will get it if you play the copy on the hard disk. Other than that yes you are correct.

I just tried 321 Begone with my DVD XCopy Express and it DID NOT remove the beginning warning screen. What did I do wrong? I followed your instructions precisely and got the response that the task was completed successfully.

Read the 1st post on the front page.
I can guarantee that is a multi language DVD. I am working on a fix for those. Single language DVD is no problem though. Sorry. please bear with me on this. I have been working on this problem for about 2 weeks now.

Hey psiDoc...I am sorry if this question is redunant but I have to ask. Did you come up with a patch to remove the DVD Backup screen from DVD Xcopy Gold? If so I thank you if not well I guess you'll have to get cracking on thatg one!!! lol. Anyways if one exists could you please let me know where i could download it?
Thanks again for the Express version....done about 25 backups with it and not once have I had a problem.

Do you have the Gold Bundle? If so can you look for the String Entry in the registry called path (Which is where Xpress gets the info for it's Temporary directory) The Platinum version saves it in a different place to the Standard XPress so I am assuming that Gold does too, however without confirmation I cannot go forward on this.
Open regedit and look in here for the gold edition entry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\321Studios\....
All I need is the keyname not the info inside it.
If you can dig the info out for me I'd appreciate it.

hey, psiDOC i have dvd x copy express v. 3.2.1.0, will the 321Gone work with it? also i read somewhere sayin that if you're burnin the entire disc the patch will not work. is that true?

Provided the Entire Disc is a single language move then it works fine.
It's with Multi language Entire disc it has probelms.
It has been tested with every version from 3.0.1 to 3.2.1.0, it also has been updated to work with Xpress from the platinum bundle. I do not have the Gold Bundle here so I have no way of collating the information I need to make it compatable with XPress in XCopy Gold.

hey psiDOC, i need some help. i'm not sure if i'm doin this right but after dvd x copy xpress done readin the movie and say "insert blank dvd", i launched 321Gone and a small window pop up sayin "This program is designed for use with DVD XCopy Xpress". then i click ok and the small closed but nothin happen. what seem to be the problem?

PsiDoc...Since I am a regedit idiot I will have to hope that this is what you are talking about....
The path HKEY_CURRENT_USER/softeare/321Studios/DVDXCopy/...has multi files in it. What file are you looking for? There are 5 files in this directory 1)Default 2)enginOption 3) isoFilesystem 4)Target Drive 5)Temp
1,4 &5 are REG_SZ file types and 2 & 3 are REF_DWORD file types. The data I will forward to you if you need it. You only have to tell me what file (or number) ha ha you need it from. If you want to send me an email about the partiucualrs etc it jared_302@sympatico.ca

Hey PsiDOC,
I just downloaded the new version from the link above and noticed that it is a zip file. The other version I had was a exe and I had it on my Desktop. Do I unzip and then put the exe file on the Desktop or does the program run from the program files directory?

What i would like to find is where the Gold bundled version key is.
If the rest are anything to go by it'll probably be:

Yes it's now in Zip form as I have added a little readme.txt file in there as well. It's just the one .exe as always (I hate bloatware!!), and no added stuff to your system files.

PsiDoc...Gold is not there...I have the Gold bundle but the only thing I can do is try the 321 gone with what you have and see what happens....I like express for its ease but gold is nice because quality is better.
Give me an email address and I will send you a screen dump of the directory structure.

to remove logo prior to burn delete video_ts.ifo use DVDFab 0.17.0 to recreate video manager video_ts.ifo open archive.txt delete contents save and leave file there.

I have the DVDXCopy Gold V1.5.2 bundle which includes the latest XPRESS V3.2.2
The registry is as follows:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\321Studios\DVdXCopy\DVDXCOPY
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\321Studios\XPress\Settings
The TEMP path is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Joe\Local Settings\Temp\DVDXPress
Downloaded and ran 321 Gone V0.61 per instructions but still get error message "This program is designed for use with DVDXCOPY XPress", without any option to manually search for the correct file.
I tried this with XPress in movie only mode with non multi-language DVD.
Operating system Windows XP
Any help would be appreciated.
