Hi
I have been trying to flash the new file, but getting error. I have original box. I open the file and click on download but then get the error message flash update failed. I am using the following cable, please let me know if this can be used:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=97737&DOY=1m11
I did a factory reset, then put the box on standby and then tried flashing, but got the error message. Will appreciate help.
Some one please help!!

Before I start trying to download new firmware and try to learn what to do next I have a s/v that says The Box on front which f/ware do I use.At the momet it says ap1ver4.51E-e Boot version 7. 9July07 Any help appreciated

Yeah I am in Ireland. Seems to be working. Don't know about updating automatically as N*L don't seem to be changing their codes.

Hi Guys I downloaded fireware for st--1 from a well know bar but it only opens with vlc media file, which is no good to download. anyone with the same trouble.

Vic I wouldn t go downloading anything from sites that dont represent Afteredawn.. all downloads we advise you to try are under Eamos library and have been tried and tested prior to posting!!

Hi could someone help me.I have downloaded the new file for the star 3 box super, it has downloaded successfully and has the version required in the system info page.
When i come to do the rescan it picks the channels and the emu is on but it still has scrambled channels no updates start.

thanx karljd have done no repply yet tho as for th turner123 thing i havent a clue who or wot it is any 1 no about the eurovox ex1000 sl glasgow is down got the box super up and running with the 8.02e update any sugestions for the eurovox? thanx
