I would edit that if I were you. The wad files are copyrighted materials and you might get suspended or something for posting links. BTW, Waninkoko has updated the cIOS to cIOS36 ver.4.

could that be why i keep getting error(ret=-116) on downgrader when it tries to initialize my network to download firmware bc it just stops there and wont give me list of firmwares ie 3.3u and below
also do u need a new version of IOS37-64-v2070.wad as well?
Also just tried googling cIOS36 ver.4 and i couldnt get a download link anyone know where i can get this

No I'm all set on the IOS files. I get them right off of the discs. I use and easy program called Wiibrowse, it lets you browse the file structure of the wii disc or ISO rips and extract the IOS files directly. You can find Wiibrowse by googling but you will need "ckey.bin". PM me if you can't find either of those files.

hey i sent u a pm also how do i check em havent used this site much since i joined that ckey.bin has been tough to find through google i was wondering i have a file that cam with a trucha signer and scrubber programs i downloaded would that work could i rename it to ckey.bin bc its already key.bin and i read on some gBA temp post that its the same thing or somethin or its inside that file is that true can i just rename or get it out of there somehow im really confused now

key.bin = ckey.bin = commonkey.bin
Yeah, just rename it. I found Wiibrowse easier than trucha signer for extracting .wad's but I had a hard time getting trucha signer to work. Check your e-mail. ---Chikn

for the downgrader to work the Wii needs access to the internet. you choose U, E, J from the list of FW once you have started the program. There are ways to unbrick a semi-brick but there are no discs with updates higher than 3.3. Check this other thread for newly released gizmo to unbrick a full brick. It may work with semi-brick.

Thanks for the suggestion pal..but i dont think i able get my hands on the dongle
how about if i extract 3.3U firmware (WAD) and install it using WAD manager?
will the 3.3U firmware overwrite 3.3E firmware?

do u have a wiikey also there is a wiisytem menu program i saw before if u had homebrew channel installed and u can still use it u might be able to find that something lie system menu 289 or wii sytemmenuv289 something like that ive seen it before maybe that will roll u back or how bout if u have a wiikey the recovery discs i wonder if after u use the recov disc if it will set u back to a earlier wii sytem menu never really though about it well anyways good luck if i can remeber the name of that file or link ill send it to u
found it wii sytem update v289 i have it hold on pm comin ur way soon dont know if u can even use it but f it right u never know

Hi cb9983, many thanks for the files. If not mistaken, after unzip the files , it will come out as an ISO file right?
since my Wii is 3.3E , i guess it will not read the disc since Trucha Signer will not work on 3.3 and above :(
*actually i already burned a few discs but Wii do not read it. :(
now i wonder if i can extract the wad file (updater file -3.3U) and install it via WAD manager ...

hi all! how can you downgrade from 3.3u to 3.2u if my wii don't see the TP hack beta 1 and can't install homebrew channel? is there a way to intall the homebrew channel with out the TP hack, or 3.3U firmware? i had a wii 3.3U with a wiikey 1.9s updated

Hi biowolf, care to share , why do you not able to run the TP hacks?
all you have to do is to get the save file and the TP game to run it.
perhaps giving more details , we shall able to assist better :)
by the way, cb9983 , many thanks for your assistance, now my Wii is back in action even without the internet connection to run the downgrader :)

did u use right region version hack it gets confusing with letters instead of names

Hi,
Everything seems to work just fine execpt I can't connect my homebrew channel to internet. When I push the home-button in homebrew channel, it says at the left top corner that internet connection is not installed.
The rev3 installer start properly though. It read the .wad file and start patching content, but stops in 14th content and say "Custom IOS installed succesfully".
edit: Somehow I manage to get the homebrew channel connect to internet, and now I've the 3.2!

Remember this, it is not spam if you wanna downgrade your wii and fix the semi-brick or for whatever reason you wanna change your wii region.

I managed to get a copy of the WAD file, installed it and ran the version and downgrader program, only thing I had issues with was no-one mentioned changing the name of the files to from ****.dol to boot.dol
I couldn't see the apps in Homebrew channel until I did this.
My WIIKey 1.9s with 3.2E now works with all my problem titles!

Waninkoko's most recent cIOS is cIOS36, apparently 37 had some bugs.

Hi All
I have a europe pal wii, running 3.1e.
I have installed all homebrew channel and back up loader by wiigator. Have run a couple of games no probs, back ups too.
My question is simply this, do I need to upgrade to 3.2e or 3.3e.
if so Why would I need to upgrade if its working at the mo
