well i bought a hdloader becasue i wasnt sure to back up games.. but w/e i dont play online that much anyways to worry about taking the hdloader back and getting say swap magic...

Also if ur online with another person using the same disk id as u. u will get kicked/banned... it happesn on the pc thats what that whole dnas is for .. it checks tht the game is authentic... i have talked to people who play on socom2 and they tell me the same thing...

LOL,
NO U DONT GET KICKED OF THE GAMES!!! SAY U GET A MASTER COPY OF SOCOM AND U COPY THAT GAME. AND THEN U USE THE DNA$ OF THE MASTER COPY (SOCOM) AND PUT THAT MASTER COPY DNAS ON THE COPY UVE DONE THEN PLAY IT THEY WUDNT KNOW. THERE FINK UR PLAYING THE ORIGNAL COS THE DNAS BE THE SAME AS THE ORIGNAL GAME GET ME.. :p

yeah i get you.. but what im saying is if u log in with the burned game and someone else logs in with the original dnas will see that there are two disks with the same ids on at the same time...

not really cos a game dont change its DNSA.if u use a usa game online in uk then there know. or if u use a pal game online in usa..or if u use another games DNAS for another game.but if u use the orignal DNAS of the orignal game on a copy version there fink it be a orignal cos the DNAS be same as the master copy. :D

wellt there isnt too many games that can go online that are worth playing that i dont already have so its not a big deal im cool with the hdloader ill be saving a lot of money either way..thanks guys

actully theres loads games!! like timesplitters future perfect. thats gonna be a big famous online game.. there project snowblind..brothers in arms but thats crap game lol!! socom 3 will be big..but shame gt4 aint online :|i got hd loader 2. and i play games of it online! works great. :)

YoJay: what do u mean if u use the first 2 sets of digits of the SAME REGION game? Would it work for any USA game? Say I was using the last 6 digits for Killzone off the original and the first 4 digits of NFL Street 2 and I was burning a backup of Killzone to play online, would it work and what are the chances of getting banned?
I hate the big videogame comapnies.
Those big videogame companies KILLED my father.
Well NOT really, but they HURT him pretty badly.

hi ~prize99~ exactly right.. u can use the 1st four set of digits of any other game from the same region and the rest of the 6 digits of the orignal.. but u aint gotta use rest of DNAS of the orignal if u dont want too. u can use any other dnas digits and put it on a game u are patching and u can use the whole 10 digits of ID of another game if u want too and use it on a game u wanna patch.... but if u use the orignal ID then there think ur playing the orignal game online then u wudnt get ur ip banned ;) as long as its the same region all this applys too'' what i mean by same region is like if ur patching a usa game ur use a USA DNAS ID,or if the games PAL u use the pal DNAS ID..ya get me? its really slim chance of getting ur IP banned no1 has really said on any forums that there ip got banned. and even if it does u can change ur ip address wid the pardox ip changer program..but v9 and 10 consoles are impossible 2 change.. :D

ive burnt the Disc id utility CD-R and when i try loading it with my swap magic3 CD disc along with my slide card it wont work showing a red screen. Does anybody no what iam doing wrong or how i can get pass this problem?

hi mate use alchol 120% and burn the bin and cue image.. then load swap magic cd then boot cog swap loader or cd loader then boot the id disk i gave ya :P

wot u mean how~hacker26 ? u just make the game iso and use the patch windip program..then put the ID in.. and press patch lol.. then the games patched.. but u gotta use the same ID in ur region of another game. were u from?

i live in illinoise but i was asking u if i was downloading games onto my hardrive with hdloader, from ur previous post it sounded like u knew how to get games to play online if u downloaded them to ur hd which fom what i hear u cannot do.

Hey i dont know if i am now going to be banned by sony or what, but i have been reading through all your posts about disk id's, i have just backed up my Destruction Derby Arenas game and patched it with my Twisted Metal Black ( i had a couple of goes at this online, crap!! just sitting in a cupboard) disk id, and it works fine as far as to say i have had a couple of goes at speedway online. let me know what you think,

Hi all!
There is one question that has been asked in different threads (and I read many, many pages) many times, but I never saw it getting answered.
If you get the id off an online game you own, can you use that very id for other online games (same region) that you have backed up?

Man, sometimes i swear half the people on the fourm are retarded, and they make everything more complicated then it has to be. And for the people who cant spell, get a freaking life. Half of us cant even understand your typing.

just put any number 1-9 or any letter a-f combination in place of the X's and it will work
@ Jael no you cannot do that because the last three pairs of digits or numbers in the dnas id are the same for every copy of that game, that is why you can make up the first to pairs of numbers. So u can make unlimited copys of online games and play them all at once along with the original copy.
