No probs, just backed it up with newest dvdfabhd. Vob Blanker works great.
Shrink works well also.

Odd, i had no problem with this one. I backed it up using DvdFab Hd, VobBlanker, DvdShrink/ImgBurn. Just watched it, no problems at all.

Thank You for your reply,I wasn?t clear at first with your answer but I did download and install AnyDVD,after a few tries I realized that this program (AnyDVD) runs in the background so I then used DVDFABHD to rip the disc and then yes from there I went to DVD Shrink. The Process worked Thanks for the good advice.

You don't run both Anydvd and dvdfabhd together. There are times when they will interfere with each other. Dvdfabhd can decrypt all by itself and when dvdfabhd doesn't work, then try anydvd with shrink, is a good combo.

I got a message that DVDFABHD might not work correctly while ANYDVD was running, but the combo (ANYDVD+DVDFABHD+DVDSHRINK) did do the job. When I tried to decrypt with DVDFABHD by itself it would not work for me,I tried it on 3 different computers all with the same failed results.

I received the same message from Any DVDas you did Darcon . My BenQ 1650 DW cannot read this disc. Any DVD 6.3.0.3 displays that same error message. It does play on my NEC drive and any other drive I have just not my BenQ. Either this disc/movie has some different characteristics than others or my BenQ drive is losing its great read ability and may need replacing.

I ran ANYDVD in the background and used DVDFABHD over it to rip the disc I did get a message that the programs may interfere with each other, but they didn't, this successfully downloaded the disc.for me. The new version of DVDFab HD Decrypter 4.0.3.0 (by itself) worked also. Scence then I have downloaded the newer DVDFab HD Decrypter 4.0.3.2 this did not work on "3:10 to Yuma" but anydvd version 6.3.0.3 did.

Shoot 'Em Up appeared to have a similar protection I saw in Apocalypto. I used AnyDVD ripper for this movie and then Recode.

Chavo, why do you and others keep calling ANYDVD a ripper or copier when it's not?
it sits in the background and allows OTHER rippers or copiers to function on a copyrighted dvd
When people say they used ANYDVD, it would be nice if they also said what they were actually using to RIP or COPY the dvd

yes it is a ripper
Quote: it sits in the background and allows OTHER rippers or copiers to function on a copyrighted dvd
you mean it sits in the backgroud removing the protection so transcodes(not other rippers) like clonedvd 2 or dvd shrink can transcode the movie
Quote: When people say they used ANYDVD, it would be nice if they also said what they were actually using to RIP or COPY the dvd
anydvd is a ripper clonedvd 2 or dvd shrink are transcoders(clonedvd 2 has a burning engine also) then nero imgburn etc are the copiers
so anydvd does a couple things it runs in the background and removes the protection of the store bought dvd so clonedvd 2 or dvd shrink can transcode it. its also a ripper you can insert the store bought dvd into your drive and anydvd can rip it the the HD removing the copy protection
ripping = removing the protection from a store bought dvd. so yes anydvd is a ripper
anydvd ripper vvvv

Quote: When people say they used ANYDVD, it would be nice if they also said what they were actually using to RIP or COPY the dvd
anydvd is a ripper clonedvd 2 or dvd shrink are transcoders(clonedvd 2 has a burning engine also) then nero imgburn etc are the copiers
so anydvd does a couple things it runs in the background and removes the protection of the store bought dvd so clonedvd 2 or dvd shrink can transcode it. its also a ripper you can insert the store bought dvd into your drive and anydvd can rip it the the HD removing the copy protection
ripping = removing the protection from a store bought dvd. so yes anydvd is a ripper
anydvd ripper vvvv
pwned
I always use AnyDVD to initially rip the movies.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
